Econo Lodge Northport near University

Staff were nice

I killed a cockroach in my room. Room smelled bad. Price was too high for quality of hotel. Had to pay extra 25 after arrival for non smoking room. Breakfast was cereal and waffles. Was not clean. Pool was closed. Would not stay here again.

Leaving!

Where do I Begin? I?ve spoke to my cc company about a refund. If I hadn?t paid I wouldn?t have stayed the 1st night. Smelled like a skunk when I was walked in. So nasty. But the biggest thing was waking up to roaches crawling across my pillow in bed

I slept

They did not have conditioner. Did not have orange juice apple juice nor any cereal in containers coffee was cold definitely wouldn¿t recommend

This hotel should not be on your website, it is in poor condition, rags for towels no tissues, no clock just a old tired motel, I was afraid to have any of the so called breakfast Price gauge also because of a football game, I was not there for that

everything

Hot shower

Holes in curtains, No coffee in room, stains in sink and tub, unfriendly staff, very poor breakfast, rooms requested not available.

Absolutely nothing! This place is disgusting!!

The first room smelled so bad that we could not stay in it, marijuiana smell, horrible!! The second room had spider webs & spiders in them all over the room. Mold and mildew in bath, and roaches in the lights,Water coming up through the floor. Hair in bed

Location.

The room had roaches & reeked of smoke.

Rooms have been remodeled

Beware! They tried to charge me extra because their rates went up AFTER I had booked and paid for my room in FULL!

it could have been a nice hotel ; I liked it was comforting

we had kids who was expecting a pool there where no pool the wifi wasn¿t workin and they have cable but only a few channels the kids was upset they wanted to watch netflix which was on the tv but the front desk said we couldn¿t watch it they blocked it

The rooms were recently remodeled and roomy, Shower was great, bed was comfy. Easy access.

The hotel had zero lobby services, as far as I could tell.

The location was the only reason that I picked the hotel.

Cleanliness was the biggest issue. The bathroom needed to be deep cleaned. The floors were fairly dirty, like they used a dirty mop. The bed was fine.

Clean, safe, economic and friendly staff.

Privacy!

No shower curtain, took staff forever to book me when I arrived, and I saw a roach craw in front of the tv

It’s location was close to campus

The room smelt like cigarette smoke from 30 years - dirty bathroom, dirty floors, dirty furniture . Was disgusting - but.... got to see Alabama football!

Location and price was right. Staff was helpful when we arrived.

Our friends room had multiple lights out. The bed and pillows were not comfortable. It had a bit of an odor but I got use to it. There was a rolled up T-shirt in the closet still. Toilet, sink and shower were clean and the sheets looked fresh at least.

The room was not cleaned and the desk clerk refused to do anything other than give me clean towels. Earlier in the day I specifically asked her to. Make sure room was cleaned before I returned. Finally when I threatened no payment she said I could move ne

Location to my event.

Badly needs an update, breakfast was stale cereal and tiny muffins. Also roaches in the room. Probably will not book a room here again.

Staff was rude, room was nasty, only one towel and no one would answer the phone for more, smoke holes in sheets, no iron or coffee pot. It was a nasty place in a bad area.

We had no issues. If we needed towels, we got towels, we needed a blanket got a blanket. Stayed Friday ti be there for the A Day gameSaturday. It was perfect.Close location. Will def stay again next yr. Surprisingly it was super clean too

The location was perfect . A couple of miles from the University of Alabama. We were out of stadium and at hotel under 30 minutes, which was fantastic. Easy check in early and great staff.
