Super 8 by Wyndham Birmingham

It was close to my job

It had roaches half cleaned it lamp didn't work and I left my blanket behind literally called 45 mins later only to be told no one found a king size white blanket ok? I know my fault but come on

unkept property. unsafe neighborhood. Low security. Not a good alternative for anyone.

Location to UAB hospital

Everything open outlets missing light bulbs someone also entered our for after I went to staff and asked them not to...

Close to highway and attractions, great price

Several people outside early morning hours, left early for safety concern

Tourway is a well-run older motel in a less-than-interesting neighborhood. Clean and basic room. About a mile from downtown, and with much more character than chain motels out near the highway interchanges. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Close to the freeway entrance.

No coffee maker in room or lobby. No vending machines for drinks or snacks and no complimentary breakfast. Several blocks from any eateries.

The best thing about this hotel was the staff, the man who checked us in, I'm assuming was the owner, was kind and very friendly.

Not the cleanest hotel and we had to kill a huge roach, the big waterbug kind, that had found it's way into our room!!

It's a cheap motel. But no one broke into my car and I slept just fine.

I could have done without the cigarette burns on the bedspread.

The staff was really nice. They were super helpful especially the guy at the front desk. The price was not bad either.==

The WiFi was huge problem. It would connect then disconnect. And majority of the time the WiFi was undetectable. I had to use quite a bit of data during my stay, at least .75 GB.

Very friendly service

Staff efficiency and room preparation.

Location

They’re doing a cheap remodel and renting out rooms in the middle of the remodel. The beds were horrible ie hard, plastic still on them. Not to mention the front desk wouldn’t give us enough towels for our party of 4 adults. When we got there, they only had 1 towel in the room. This is my 2nd stay at this location and it’s gotten worst. I returned because the first stay was good for the price. Now, I will never be back.

Bed was not comfortable. Plastic cover on the mattress. Not very clean.

If I hadn’t been so...

“No smoking” room smelled like decades of old cigarette smoke, dead bug on the floor as soon as you walk in, and blood on one of the beds. Also one of the tables was sticky/wet underneath. It was 1am and I had been driving for 13 hours, that’s the *only* reason we stayed there instead of getting a new room.

I got a good night sleep

No coffee maker and the heater didn't heat the room like it should

Pretty awful.

Barely a motel. No working wifi, filthy room and bathroom.

New beds made nighttime well worth it

Middle of remodel so had a issue with toilet

Was clean but got smell

Smell like weed an restroom was outdated

Sheets were clean. Close to the Interstate and Gas Station.

Just not as visually appealing as one would like in a hotel room. It is a place to lay your head if needed.

Very dated, mattress wrapped in plastic made noise every time you moved. Shabby place
