    Pros +

    • Room was very clean and bed was super comfortable. Continental breakfast was great.
    • Nice hotel, good location, staff was friendly
    • Breakfast options were ok.

    Cons -

    • We had our do not disturb sign on the door but at around 9am when I was still in the bathroom the cleaning person still knocked and tried to come in, my partner was still sleeping and didn't get to the door to stop them luckily the deadbolt was locked
    • Hallway carpets were dirty and somehow worn out. Toilet in room wouldn?t flush- had to get inside tank to fix often-broken tile and peeling wallpaper in restroom. High valet parking fee. Street parking is far for seniors/handicapped and was raining.
    • Shower curtain rod was broken, so it was difficult to keep water inside the shower. Had to rig the shower curtain a particular way to minimize water getting on floor.

Surrounding area was nice with plenty of food options. It was a nice area with a good vibe.

Shower curtain rod was broken, so it was difficult to keep water inside the shower. Had to rig the shower curtain a particular way to minimize water getting on floor.

It location to Legacy Arena (where we went to a concert) was great.

The food choices within walking distance, many were closed on the weekend. Also coffee maker was nasty, had to wash it myself and run water through it a couple of times before using it.

Fairly well situated in central Birmingham. Generally pleasing renovations to an older city building.

Parking. When you have to pay 25% - 30% more on top of the room rate, that's ridiculous. "You can park for free on the street" is not a good answer for this neighborhood.

Dingy room with roaches, mold and peeling wallpaper.

    Bathroom outdated/ old fixtures

Beautiful old Historic hotel and the rooms were well stocked and beds were very comfortable.

Directly across the street from the city park where a HUGE concentration of homeless population lives. No parking on site so you have to park on the street around the hotel and literally step over sleeping homeless people to get to/from your car

    10DavidPosted on: 9-24-2024

The staff was friendly and everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Check in and check out were easy

Historical building conversion and the excellent beautification just phenomenal

    No bath tub

    10TiffanyPosted on: 8-26-2024

    Location & free breakfast.

I like more modern hotel rooms. These rooms are very old . Looks like they did renovations on the outside but definitely not the rooms . But that may be the look they?re going for .

    Location.

Not well maintained rooms?tile was broken and loose, bed was rickety, bathroom had mold in the toilet

    It's proximity to Linn Park.

Valet and surrounding parking was limited due to Linn Park events.

Great location for the Birmingham Jazz Festival! Hotel employee the Valet was awesome and very helpful upon check in. Another Valet during my stay was awesome as well!!!

Too many flying gnats in the lobby sitting area!

    The location

The cleanliness of the hotel building is not like it use to be, they did?t clean the room in 5 days, they make the beds 2 days and change towels because we requested it, once we have to ask for toilet paper. The condition of the hotel is a little worn out

    7Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 4-29-2024

    Fitness center was nice.

A little tired. No gluten free options at breakfast. Price was really high for what it was.

    1Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 4-26-2024

the ac didn¿t work, the room wasn¿t clean, the internet didn¿t work.
