Redmont Hotel Birmingham, Curio a Collection by Hilton

I chose the hotel because of the rooftop bar. The website said it was open 7 days a week. We arrived and it was closed on Sundays. The staff could not have cared less. Completely uninterested at all that the website totally mislead me.

Good location. Friendly staff.

Rooftop bar was not good. Only beer and wine. Same as the lobby bar. One TV missing. No entertainment. Dismal atmosphere. It could have been so much more.

Great location , great bartending staff, very clean and elegant rooms

Useless valet system. At check in, valet said I could get my vehicle at 6:30AM next morning for check out. Sign in lobby also said 6:30AM. Valet did not show up to work until after 7:00AM. Front desk staff rude & dismissive Waited 1+ hr for car. No fridge

The building is old, quaint, clean and the entire staff was very professional and attentive. The food was savory. I wanted to bring the chef home with me. Awesome experience.

I was assigned to room 309 and the water temperature was barely warm. Needed hot water.

A boutique feel,rooftop bar was fun and an excellent burger at the restaurant bar.

Historic charm, downtown location

Other than the valet, the service was not really that great. The one elevator is dedicated to the rooftop, which wasn¿t even open because it was cold. No yeah can in the bathroom- that was really odd.

The staff was amazing. We arrived late at night and had to leave early in the morning. They went out of their way to help us and gave great recommendations.

Wish there was a hot tub or late night bar open.

The location and history of the hotel is magnificent.

Like all low wage jobs, the hotel restaurant and bar suffered from lack of staff and I was unable to dine there due to them being 30 tickets deep (or anywhere else as it turns out, later on a Sunday night in Birmingham)

Great location. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are large. The staff is friendly and helpful. They also have a restaurant and rooftop bar with live music; it was very convenient way to have fun without leaving the property. Highly recommend.

The food was very good.

Yes. I had multiple charges to my account AFTER I paid in full upon check in. The staff member didn't make sense when trying to explain what they were. Also the hotel was lost me --$ Dollars because they couldn't reinstate my original reservation.

The location was great. Access to The Roof was nice and a fun place to hang out. The staff was accommodating and friendly.

The internet speed was slower than most.

Service was very poor air conditioning did not work in the rooms and there was no apology or communication regarding that.

Very nice hotel! Perfect area to stay if attending a concert at the BGCC. Room was spacious and so clean.

The location was perfect for convenience to the events we attended. The RoofTop bar was fun after event place. The day matron on 9th was very accommodating! She serviced our room even though we did not request service that morning.

It was not made clear day matron would not come to service room unless requested. Parking (although the valets were fantastic) It would be nice to have a free parking option.

Parking issues,bathroom tub could look a lot better it looked dirty, shaky elevator. When I turned on the shower the water came out brown.

Rooftop bar

Found Cockroach crawling in room, shower was dirty. Could hear the elevator screeching through the floor everytime it moved, walls were paper thin. Most amenities closed, no refrigerator in room or machine anywhere

Close to UAB and was within walking distance of several restaurants

Bathtub was very slick on the bottom. Had to put towel down to avoid falling.

Restaurant was closed. Elevator was very shaky. Valet put a dent in my bumper. Nothing special.

Gorgeous decor. Staff that epitomize “southern hospitality”. Location is perfect. We didn’t want to pay for valet parking and there were several other options that were literally right across the street. Would have been nice if they were shared.

The bed could be more comfortable. Parking was confusing beforehand.
