Clean room!!! LA is a mess and it's amazing to go back to my room and not having to deal with mystery stains or smells. I'm antisocial and being able to just relax away from big city and people is a need.
Beautiful lobby and decent location.
The lobby and respective areas and the fact that they still have classic bellmen who are kind, dressed well, and helpful! Hotel employee was really great!

The employees were no smiles and all business. They took care of my family and took care of what we needed. It was a quiet place on a busy street. 24 hour parking lot security allowed peace of mind. Housekeeping was very friendly and smiled.
It's clean, quiet and centrally located for my plans. It has a good Korean restaurant in lobby and the staff there is incredibly nice and helpful with all my questions.

Its compactness. It is good for single person stay, but may be challenging for family stays, because the rooms are small.

The price, considering it's location. Hollywood Blvd is less than a minute's walk away. Hollywood Blvd itself is a bit sketchy, but the hotel felt safe, and they have staff in the parking garage so you don't have to worry about your car.
Had a very pleasant stay! Staff was lovely to us. The room was very clean, tiny but good enough to just sleep in! The hotel is located right off Hollywood Blvd so it was perfect to access the subway and experience the nightlife during Halloween weekend.

Top Tips
- Book hotels 60-90 days ahead for major events, such as the Oscars or conventions at the LA Convention Center, to avoid 30-100% rate spikes. For standard summer weekends, booking 30-45 days ahead helps capture newly released inventory. Flexible cancellation policies are common if you book direct, but confirm the window with your provider.
- Parking in central LA hotels often adds $40-$70 per vehicle per day for self-park or valet. Valet charges can be higher than self-park, and some properties offer EV chargers or discounts for hybrid vehicles. Confirm rates and available amenities before arrival, as fees differ by chain and location.
- Use official airport links, such as the LAX FlyAway bus (about $9.75 one-way to Union Station), or the LAX Automated People Mover to avoid off-site shuttle surcharges. LAX FlyAway buses run accessible vehicles and operate from early morning until late at night; check the official schedule or download the route map for reference.
- Many hotels include basic Wi-Fi, but premium high-bandwidth tiers may cost $10-$25 per day. If you rely on fast Wi-Fi for work or medical devices, confirm that accessible rooms have equivalent coverage and speeds before booking.
- Hotels near LAX, including in El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, and Marina del Rey, can experience aircraft noise. Major chains like Marriott or Hilton in El Segundo are in the impact area. When booking, request a room on a higher floor and facing away from runways for a quieter stay.
- Daily housekeeping is often opt-in at California hotels to support water conservation. Contact the front desk when you arrive to set your preferred housekeeping frequency or request additional linens and supplies, and ask about any sustainability programs in place.
- Hotels must accept service animals under ADA and California law, but emotional support animals are not covered. Inform hotel staff before arrival, and have documentation ready for a smooth check-in.
- It is customary to tip valet staff $5-$10 when your car is retrieved and housekeeping $3-$5 per day, left daily. Tipping is at your discretion and may vary by property tier, with luxury hotels often on the higher end.
- Prepare for periods of wildfire smoke and poor Air Quality Index (AQI) in late summer to fall. Many LA hotels now list air purification features, like HEPA filters, on their websites. Check airnow.gov for current AQI and call the hotel to verify what air quality features are available in guest rooms.
- Always accept charges in USD and decline Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) to avoid 1-6% loss on poor rates or added margins. For example, if quoted an amount in euros, ask to pay in US dollars. Review your receipt to make sure the correct currency is shown.
- Around event venues like Crypto.com Arena, SoFi Stadium, and LA Live, rideshare fares can surge by 20-200%. Metro Rail or DASH buses offer lower fares during busy periods. Confirm if your hotel has a shuttle to event venues and verify pickup or drop-off spots in advance.
- Koreatown and Mid-City hotels can be 20-50% less expensive than comparable chain properties in West Hollywood or Santa Monica. Major brands like Sheraton and Line Hotel are present, and the Red/Purple Metro lines connect you to downtown and Hollywood in 15-20 minutes.
