cool iconic hotel
The hotel is authentic and retains much of the charm of a hotel built in the early 1900¿s. It¿s conveniently located on the main street through town and within walking distance to the Buffalo Bill Center Museums.
Location and character Prime rib buffet was ok but pricey.

The staff greated me every time I passed throught the lobby. I told one staff member I was goingto my father's funeral. The next day they remembered and asked how the services were.

Staff was great
All the staff I crossed paths with were super friendly! I was very impressed with the quality / cleanliness of this hotel for the price I paid. I travel frequently with my dog, and this had one of the cleanest and best laid out pet areas I have seen.
Morning staff was so nice and the owner or property manager has gone above and beyond on the pet area and trail.

Very clean room and comfortable bed! Very spacious room! Would work well for 1 day or longer. In Cody most non-chain hotels only have coffee / tea service. This location has snacks and a gift shop available . Visit the BB museum!! World class!!

Very clean room and nice A/C.
I liked that the front desk guy had already checked reservations and had my room key ready. This hotel isn't fancy but its right off the main road. Its quiet. I've stayed here 2x now. Yes it has a rustic design but this is Wyoming!
Didn?t care for it.

We loved the charm this old hotel had. I have to admit, I wasn't expecting to be staying in an old hotel lol. I'm so used to staying in more updated hotels that it threw us off a little. Once we got used to it, there wasn't a problem at all.
Charming, classy hotel
The rooms are incredible! Furnished so quaintly and basically, small apartments. We absolutely loved the "period" feel of our room! We had everything we neede while we were there!

Top Tips
- Book Cody hotels 3-6 months ahead for summer peak season to avoid 20-30% rate surges, especially during the Cody Nite Rodeo (June-August). Many major hotel brands offer loyalty programs that may provide members with extra savings or perks when booking directly or through their platforms.
- Factor in an additional 5-8% for lodging taxes and up to 5% local fees; a $150 USD room can incur $15 to $20 USD extra per night.
- Prioritize hotels within 1-2 miles of downtown for easy access to attractions like the Buffalo Bill Center of the West and lower transport costs. Many top hotels offer complimentary shuttle service within central Cody, so confirm shuttle availability directly with the property.
- Contact your hotel to verify Wi-Fi speeds if you need reliable connectivity for remote work. Typical speeds range from 20-50 Mbps but can be inconsistent; hotel business centers or lobby wireless zones in larger hotels often have more stable service if in-room Wi-Fi is insufficient.
- For winter stays (November-March) when temperatures drop to -5°F to 15°F, choose properties with generators for heating reliability during possible power outages. Confirm the heating system type or emergency protocols in advance, especially if you have mobility or health considerations.
- Use credit cards for purchases to avoid local ATM fees, which can range from $2 to $5 USD per transaction.
- Request step-free access as early as possible when booking. Around 60-70% of Cody hotels offer ADA-compliant features, but elevator access is not guaranteed in older properties. For specific accessible room features such as roll-in showers or visual alarms, confirm availability—larger hotel chains are more likely to offer varied configurations.
