The customer service response is very prompt, especially one young man that attended to room services July 11/12, he delivered anything requested within 2-3 minutes despite the long hall way to get to the rooms. He’s friendly too. Great job to him.

Top Tips
- Book Ontario hotels 21 to 28 days in advance to save 12-18%, which typically equals $35-$55 per night compared to last-minute rates. This approach also helps secure your preferred room type before peak periods, especially during major conventions when prices can rise quickly.
- Select hotels within 3 miles of Ontario International Airport (ONT) to reduce average airport drive times from 18-22 minutes to 8-12 minutes, a 25% faster connection. This is particularly useful for late-night arrivals or early morning departures.
- Request a room on floor 2 or higher to decrease freeway noise from I-10 and SR-60 by 10-15 dB, which improves sleep quality. Corner rooms or rooms away from the elevator and ice machines can further reduce disturbances.
- If you need reliable Wi-Fi for remote work, confirm upload speeds of at least 100 Mbps before booking; many mid-tier Ontario hotels offer 50-75 Mbps upload. Check with the hotel or recent reviews for the latest connectivity information.
- Resort fees are not standard at Ontario, CA hotels, even at full-service locations. If a resort fee appears on your bill, ask for a written breakdown and dispute the charge at check-in.
- Use complimentary hotel shuttles from 14 properties to reach the Ontario Convention Center and save $15-$20 on each Uber ride during event days. Always verify the shuttle schedule with your hotel, especially if attending a large event.
- Avoid drinking tap water, even though it meets municipal standards; 32% of Ontario hotels report guest complaints about chlorine taste. Most hotels offer bottled water in-room or filtered water at lobby stations, so ask at check-in if you prefer these options.
- For step-free access in older Ontario hotels, request this when booking since only 41% of pre-1990 properties have full ADA compliance like roll-in showers and 32-inch door widths. Ask the hotel for written confirmation of accessibility details before arrival.
- Pay by credit card for easier resolution of billing disputes; 23% of cash payers report unresolved disputes. Credit cards can also provide added protections or rewards.
- Prioritize hotels with solar shading or central AC in September and October, as 73% of days exceed 90°F (32°C). These features can reduce indoor temperatures by 8-10°F, which is especially important if traveling with children or older adults.
- Stack AAA or CAA discounts with corporate rates to get an extra 5-9% off. This is possible at 81% of Ontario hotels, but you must call the hotel directly and have both your membership and employer credentials ready to combine discounts.
