We spent all day driving around Dallas, and Hotel Dax was a nice, comfy, clean, safe place to come back to and rest. Upscale decor, hood price for the room, but nothing extra included.

Top Tips
- Hotel rates in Addison can increase by 100% or more during Kaboom Town on July 3, with many properties selling out 60-120 days in advance. Book early to secure availability and avoid surge pricing.
- Choose hotels along Belt Line Road or Midway Road within Addison Circle for airport, dining, and conference access in a 3-10 minute drive. This area is central and offers walkable access to restaurants and parks.
- If you are sensitive to sound, request a room on a higher floor or away from Addison Airport (within 0.5-1 mile) to reduce exposure to periodic jet noise. Many hotels offer double-glazed windows, so confirm soundproofing at check-in if needed.
- DART rail does not serve central Addison. For local trips, use rideshare or car rental, and plan for 10-25 minutes to reach downtown Dallas during off-peak times. Confirm rideshare pickup zones at your hotel lobby if accessibility is a priority.
- Weekend hotel stays in Addison may offer lower rates compared to weekdays, when corporate travel increases Monday-Thursday occupancy. Check for event exclusions when searching for value dates.
- Parking fees can vary from complimentary self-parking to $15-$25 USD per night at Addison hotels. Verify parking details before arrival, especially if you require accessible parking options.
- Flag hotels like Hilton and Marriott may offer loyalty or negotiated rates that include free breakfast, room upgrades, or waived parking. Ask about these perks at booking and present relevant membership details at check-in.
- Business Wi-Fi speeds and meeting room access can vary across properties. For reliable video calls or private space, confirm bandwidth and meeting room options in advance directly with the hotel's front desk.
- I-635 and Dallas North Tollway frequently experience delays during morning and evening rush hours. Add a 30-45 minute buffer to airport transfers or meetings scheduled during these times.
- To minimize traffic and nightlife noise near Addison Circle Park, request an interior or courtyard-facing room. Hotels adjacent to Belt Line or Midway roads may have more exterior noise.
