Location, and stuff was very accommodating
Classy, upscale hotel in a nice area. Convenient to Belvedere & Hofburg palaces, less than 5 minute walk to U-bahn station. Nearby trolley stops also make getting around easy. Wifi was good & worked well.

Location was a bit awkward from main attractions.
The room was very spacious and clean. I also got a cookie while checking-in which was a win-win.

Location is ideal. Bed was good and firm. The wait staff at breakfast was friendly and helpful. They stored my food in the fridge at the reception. Internet was good and fast. They do have antiseptic spray to clean hands and room.

Location is very good, close to subway & market.

Very amazed how well-designed the room was despite being tiny.
Firstly, most rooms seem to have malfunctioning AC, running nonstop and making the room extremely cold. Refer to attached images ¿ AC blows cold air onto the bed and table. Regardless of activity, you'll feel chilly.
It had a hip modern vibe and the room felt up to date, new and fresh. The view from the rooftop bar was incredible!

fairly easy to get to, nice staff people, and there is street parking to be had (though be careful about the rules since I did get a parking ticket ...).

Amazing hospitality. Super comfy room. Very nice restaurant. Excellent free breakfast buffet; we had an early flight out and they packed us a free lunch because we'd miss breakfast! Super clean. Would definitely recommend.

Location. Views of Stadtpark. Friendly staff
The location of the hotel is amazing. Riight next to the train station, across the street from the mall and numerous shops. You can get on a hop on hop off bus across the street.

We know the hotel pretty well as we go there 4-5 times a year. Location is great and top floor rooms with balcony are nice
The 5 star experience began with hotel employee who was at the front desk. Hotel employee was a professional who stopped at nothing to ensure that I was checked in seamlessly!
It was the first time that I was in a hotel during pride month and it was so cute and so sweet without being "performative". Also the staff was great!

The location, the staff, the beds, the soft sheets, modern bathroom, the quiet (mostly, until window had to be opened for cooling), the next day laundry service and the breakfast.

My room was very large, spotlessly clean, attractively decorated. It included a safe. There was a large map of Vienna wrapped around a horizontally lit area by the desk which was both attractive and useful, Staff was most helpful. Well located.

Top Tips
- Vienna applies a mandatory municipal visitor tax of 3.2% on accommodation rates. This fee is usually added at booking or during check-in; review your reservation breakdown to confirm it is included.
- For airport transfers, the S7 S-bahn costs €4.30 (approx. $5 USD) and takes 25-30 minutes to Wien Mitte. The City Airport Train (CAT) costs €12–€13 (approx. $13–$14 USD) one-way and reaches Wien Mitte in 16 minutes. Both trains are accessible from Vienna International Airport’s arrivals area; tickets can be purchased at airport kiosks or online. Choose S7 for cost savings or CAT for a faster direct route.
- Vienna’s tap water is potable and sourced from the Alps, ensuring high quality. Avoid spending €2–€4 (approx. $2–$4 USD) on bottled water by refilling your bottle at hotel taps or designated public fountains. Ask hotel staff if refill stations are available in the lobby.
- Many historic hotels in Vienna’s 1st district lack elevators. Request an accessible or ground-floor room 2-6 weeks before arrival if mobility is a concern, and confirm with the property if step-free or ramp access is available, since last-minute swaps are often unavailable.
- Hotels displaying the Austrian Ecolabel (Österreichisches Umweltzeichen) or the EU Ecolabel follow verified sustainability standards. Look for these symbols when booking and verify ecolabel details in listings or at reception if eco-friendly practices are important to you.
- Select EUR as your payment currency at card terminals to avoid Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC); DCC can add 1-5% or more through poor exchange rates. Insist on being charged in EUR to maximize value, even when using an international credit card.
- Consider hotels in Leopoldstadt (2nd), Landstraße (3rd), or Neubau (7th). These U-Bahn-connected districts are usually 5-15 minutes from the city center by subway and often feature lower nightly rates than Innere Stadt. Hotels in these areas may offer more modern amenities or quieter surroundings.
- For sought-after events like the Vienna Opera Ball and New Year's Eve, book your hotel 60-90 days in advance. For Christmas market season, aim for 30-45 days to avoid paying premium rates and secure your preferred location. If arriving late during event periods, contact the hotel ahead as reception hours or check-in procedures may vary.
- Austria uses Type F (230V) electrical outlets. Bring a Type F plug adapter and a small multi-USB charger, as many historic hotels may lack bedside USB ports. Some hotels offer loaner adapters at reception upon request.
- Local prepaid SIM cards from A1, Drei, or Magenta cost about €10–€20 (approx. $11–$22 USD) for 5-10 GB and provide reliable citywide coverage as a hotel Wi-Fi backup. SIM cards are sold at airport kiosks and city convenience stores; passports may be required for purchase under local regulation.
- Standard hotel check-in is usually from 15:00 and check-out by 11:00. Late check-out fees range from €20–€50 (approx. $22–$55 USD), depending on the hotel. Request late check-out in advance to avoid full-day charges, and confirm if complimentary luggage storage is available for early arrivals or late departures.
- When dining, round up the bill or tip 5-10% at restaurants. Porters and housekeeping typically receive €1–€2 (approx. $1–$2 USD) per bag or per night for standard service. Tips are usually handed directly to staff, as adding a tip to your card payment is uncommon in Austria.
