This hotel is a great hotel to stay at! The hotel lobby & rooms look newer & smells clean & fresh! I’ve stayed at other Hilton hotels every weekend for the past 5 weeks & this hotel by far exceeds all of those other properties! And staff are amazing!
Friendly staff
Location is near the water Like the location since it was close to LAX but a safer area than directly by the airport. Check in staff was super friendly and informative Beds were comfortable Refrigerator in the room which was very convenient

It's stuffed with amenities. The staff does not seem out for money on every little thing. For instance, they let a visitor park during the day for 4 hours without charging (when I offered). There's a really cool LA wine/beer store next door.

Top Tips
- Request a room facing inland or north to reduce potential jet noise, as LAX is about 3 miles southeast of Marina del Rey and runway use changes with the wind. Confirm your room orientation when booking if you are sensitive to aircraft noise.
- Hotel parking fees in Marina del Rey typically range from $30-$45 per day. For short stays under 48 hours, rideshare services to or from LAX or Santa Monica are often more cost-effective than paying for daily parking.
- Book your hotel 2-4 weeks early for summer weekends in June-August or the early December Holiday Boat Parade, as rates and occupancy increase significantly during these periods. Ask about accessible room availability during high-demand times.
- Most waterfront hotels are 0.8-1.5 miles from Venice Beach, which is about a 15-30 minute walk. To minimize walking distance, choose a hotel on the north or west side of the marina and confirm sidewalk accessibility if mobility is a concern.
- Non-waterfront rooms or view downgrade categories can help you save, since waterfront views usually carry a visible premium on booking sites. Check rate differences before booking and verify accessible room types if needed, as view category may affect availability.
- Big Blue Bus and LA Metro connect Marina del Rey to Santa Monica and Venice, but confirm evening times because frequency drops late at night and you may need a rideshare after midnight. Hotel concierges can assist with transit schedules or accessible transport options.
- Burton Chace Park concerts and marina events can increase local noise and limit parking. If you are sensitive, request a room away from the park and arrive early for on-site parking. Hotel staff can advise on event dates and quiet room locations for families and guests with sensory needs.
- Tap water in Los Angeles is safe, but Marina del Rey's coastal treatment may add a noticeable chlorine taste. Carry a refillable bottle to reduce single-use plastics and ask if your hotel offers filtered water stations if taste is a concern.
