Location is great, beachfront and close to mall and shops. The staff is very accommodating. We had 2 separate bookings for this trip. The manager went out of his way to let us stay in same room.

Top Tips
- Book hotels 2-4 months ahead for Boracay’s dry season (December-May) to avoid 30-60% rate increases, especially during major festivals like Ati-Atihan. Advance reservations secure availability for popular beachfront properties.
- Select Station 1 hotels for a quieter atmosphere and lower crowd levels; expect 20-30% higher nightly rates compared to other stations, but enjoy direct beachfront access and enhanced safety. Confirm your reservation includes 24/7 security.
- Station 2 hotels offer 15-25% lower prices and place you within 200 m of central dining like D'Mall; expect higher evening noise after 22:00 from local nightlife and events. Bring earplugs for sensitive sleepers.
- Request step-free access at booking; over 60% of Boracay’s mid-range hotels offer ramps or elevators added after post-2018 island upgrades. Confirm availability directly with your hotel before arrival.
- Withdraw Philippine Pesos (PHP) from ATMs inside D'Mall to limit per-withdrawal fees (200-300 PHP, approx. $15 to $15 USD) and avoid dynamic currency conversion markups. Notify your bank of international travel to prevent declined cards.
- Choose a DOT-accredited eco-hotel in the March-May high season; these properties use 20-30% less water than standard hotels and prohibit single-use plastics. Ask if the resort offers approved environmental programs on-site.
- Prepare for 1-2 hourly blackout periods in non-central areas during the June-November wet season by packing a power bank. Some hotels now provide backup generators, so check with reception about emergency power provisions.
- Always refuse dynamic currency conversion (DCC) at hotels and shops to avoid a 5-10% fee; ask to pay in PHP instead for the most accurate conversion. Review your transaction receipts to verify charges in local currency.
