Location, simple amenities, and modern feel.
The only thing I liked about the hotel was the young lady that checked us in. She was very understanding of our issues the night of check in and had no bad attitude towards us for expressing how unclean our room was. the night clerk @ checkout was rude.

Top Tips
- Secure rates 15-25% lower than last-minute prices by booking hotels at least 60 days before major tech events like Adobe Summit (March) or Salesforce Connections (June). Lehi area hotels often see 40-60% price spikes and occupancy over 90% during these times. Loyalty members should check for flexible cancellation options to lower risk during event periods.
- Select hotels east of I-15 near Traverse Mountain for quieter stays, as these locations average 5-10 dB less nighttime noise due to natural terrain shielding. Use in-hotel room selector tools if available, and request a quiet floor or a room away from elevators for added comfort.
- Verify hotel Wi-Fi speeds are at least 100 Mbps for remote work, as only 35% of Lehi hotels consistently meet this despite 78% advertising 'high-speed' Wi-Fi. Brands like Hyatt House or Tru by Hilton often use fiber connections; check with the front desk or recent guest reviews, and run a speed test on arrival to ensure video meetings will not be disrupted.
- Avoid resort fees by choosing major chains such as Hampton or Home2 Suites in Lehi, which usually do not charge them. Some independent properties may add 'amenity recovery' charges of $15 to $25 USD per night. Always review your full rate breakdown for included amenities like breakfast or parking before booking.
- Request step-free or ground-floor access when booking, as 60% of Lehi hotels built before 2010 lack step-free room access, and newer builds may require advance notice due to split-level design. Confirm with the hotel for accessible bathroom features or visual alarms if needed, and clarify ADA compliance before your stay.
- For efficient airport transit to Salt Lake City International (SLC), use I-15 exits 277 (Lehi Main) or 285 (Redwood Rd) to reduce merge delays by 12-18 minutes during 6-8 AM and 4-6 PM commute times. Use a navigation app to check for roadwork or accidents, and confirm shuttle or rideshare availability when traveling outside typical hours.
- Decline Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) on hotel terminals and choose to be charged in USD when paying with a non-U.S. card to avoid a 3-6% surcharge. Notify your payment provider of travel to help prevent declined transactions.
- Check hotel water conservation policies during June to August, as 42% of Lehi hotels use low-flow fixtures and linen reuse in response to seasonal water stress. Properties with WRAS or EPA WaterSense certification may have more stable pool temperatures and landscaping; guests can help by reusing towels or participating in linen programs.
- Tip 15-18% for extended-stay housekeeping at properties such as Residence Inn in Lehi, the local standard for stays over 5 nights, compared to Salt Lake City's typical 20%. Tipping is optional but appreciated; leave gratuity in a marked envelope or at the front desk, and confirm the policy for group stays if needed.
- Use local ATMs like Bank of American Fork or People’s Town & Country Credit Union to keep non-member fees to $3.00-$3.50 USD; national banks such as Chase or Wells Fargo may add a $2.50 surcharge, totaling around $5.50 per withdrawal. Always check daily withdrawal limits, especially if using an international card.
- If you use medical equipment or are concerned about power outages, prioritize hotels with onsite backup generators. About 22% of Lehi properties, including Hyatt House and Holiday Inn Express, offer this; a January 2023 storm caused 12-hour outages across 60% of Utah County. Notify the front desk ahead of time if you have specific medical requirements.
- Stack AAA/CAA discounts with corporate rates by phoning the hotel directly; 14 Lehi hotels allow this, combining AAA's 5-10% off with corporate savings for a total of 12-18%, which online travel agencies usually do not match. Compare with online public/member rates before calling and request written confirmation of any combined rate.
