Good pool and hot tub.
They had a good breakfast. The night person was kind and friendly!
The location is good, but they charge a 10 minute deposit for each room, which is not refundable. If it's $---, you're paying $--- for a night. The stuff is too old.

Room cleanliness

The location is excellent, not too far from Bryce National Park, but the price is less than half of the lowest price charged by the hotels near the park. The room has refrigerator, microwave oven, and coffee machine, surprisingly.
That it was cheap.

Charming B&B with delicious hot breakfast and accommodating hosts. Every detail in the room was thought thru down to paper plates, free microwave popcorn, and local restaurant menus with recommendations.
Everything was fine so very well. The owners are organized and things run smoothly and still surpass expectations.

It's not an Hotel, it's a cabin... Very small, but it did the job. Or it's a huuuge tent ! and strong, made of wood. I am NOT the camping guy and i loved it ! restroom, shower are a charm. Would do it again ! restaurant close a bit soon..
This location is centrally located on Escalante Main Street, has an onsite eatery, equipment shop. It is truly a one-stop facility. We loved it! Staff was fantastic!
The floor plan was nice and the cabin was roomy. The sofa bed was a nice design.

Top Tips
- Book Kanab hotels 30-60 days ahead for spring (March-May) and fall (September-October) weekends, as around 30-50 small properties can fill quickly when nearby park visitation peaks. For loyalty points, confirm your booking directly with your preferred chain.
- Plan on driving 45-90 minutes each way to major trailheads like Zion or Bryce Canyon, as Kanab lacks regular regional shuttle services to these parks. To avoid peak parking lot congestion, consider early departures and check with your front desk for current traffic or early breakfast options.
- Keep a rental car during your Kanab stay, as inter-park shuttles operate only within Zion and do not connect Kanab to other parks. Hotel staff can help with rental extensions or supply area maps as needed.
- If traveling by RV or with an oversize vehicle, contact your hotel before arrival to confirm vehicle length limits, parking, or hookup options. Many Kanab motels offer free onsite parking but may have limited RV facilities; you can ask about outdoor power outlets or water fill services if needed.
- If you require an accessible room or a roll-in shower, request a ground-floor room and confirm ADA features in writing, as most Kanab hotels are low-rise (1-2 stories) and typically do not have elevators. Ask about available accessibility aids like visual alarms or TTY for additional accommodation.
- Most Kanab hotels accept dogs, with typical pet fees of $15-$35 USD per night. Always verify the policy details, including breed and size limits, and ask about local pet relief areas or dog walking options at the front desk.
- Plan your EV charging before arrival, as fast EV chargers are limited in Kanab. Allow a 50-150 mile buffer between charges and check PlugShare or ChargePoint; ask your hotel if they offer onsite or nearby charging capability.
- If volunteering or visiting Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, arrange luggage storage or flexible check-in/check-out with your hotel in advance as policies among Kanab properties vary. Ask if there are discounts or partnerships available for sanctuary volunteers.
- Expect earlier and shorter hotel breakfasts, often 7-9 AM, and limited late-night dining choices in Kanab. If you need an early meal or snack, ask about grab-and-go offerings, 24-hour shops nearby, or mobile food ordering from your hotel chain.
- Choose chain hotels such as Hampton or Best Western to ensure predictable Wi-Fi, late check-out flexibility, loyalty point earning, and clear corporate cancellation rules. For all eligible perks, book directly using the hotel’s loyalty app and compare each brand’s amenities.
