As touring bicyclist riding the Empire State trail we found this hotel in a safer part of town. One can walk to restaurants and a grocery store is one mile away. Vassar Collage is half a mile away.

The rooms were spacious n very neat n clean. And I loved the hot breakfast cuz it catered to pork lovers n non pork lovers (bacon n turkey sausages). And the staff was very helpful n nice.

The staff at the check in were wonderful. We were tired and cranky after a long long drive in a snow storm and they were patient and kind and helped with everything we asked for. It was a wonderful bonus to have the free charger for our EV.

Everything was great the kids enjoyed their stay very much! The pool.was open but we didn't use it but it did look and smell very clean. Hotel exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay again. The front desk guy was very pleasant.
Unlike other Residence Inns in the state, the breakfast was lousy (not hot item), the pool was still closed.
