Great location and room layout but everything is very dated.
Great condo accommodations. Great location, pool, lovely apt with back screened patio overlooking Naples Bay. Be advised this is a three story building with no elevator. Not a deal breaker for us, but may be for some. The use of bikes is an added plus.

front desk exemplified the Ritz Carlton service
The "special guest chef" at the restaurant -- the meal was amazing The bartender in the lobby bar was very personable and helpful
Since the pool was closed they did allow us to use the pool at the Ritz Carlton on the beach in Naples. However, this is a bit of a hassle having to either wait for a shuttle at certain times or drive your own car.

Top Tips
- Book your Marco Island hotel 60-90 days in advance for winter stays from December to April; rates often rise by 20-40% and major hotels, such as JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort, can reach full occupancy during snowbird and holiday periods. Compare cancellation policies for flexibility and to secure your preferred room and view.
- Prepare for hurricane season (June 1-November 30, with highest risk in August and September) by choosing hotels offering flexible cancellation or travel insurance that covers named storms. Confirm your hotel's hurricane cancellation or refund policy at booking and monitor local advisories for updates.
- Arrive via Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) for a shorter transfer—Marco Island is a 45-75 minute drive compared to up to 2.5 hours from Miami. Most major hotels provide driving directions and may offer car rental partnerships; ask your property before arrival.
- Plan your ground transport ahead, as Marco Island public transit is minimal. Most guests rent a car or book a hotel shuttle—overnight parking or valet at major hotels may add a nightly fee of $15. Contact your hotel for details on accessibility and options for parking.
- Request a room away from ballrooms or pool decks at large resorts, such as JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort, to reduce event noise from conferences and weddings, especially during busy spring or holiday weekends. Add this request to your reservation or to your loyalty profile where possible.
- During sea-turtle nesting season (March-October), turn off or close balcony lights at night and avoid flash photography near dunes to help protect wildlife. Many hotels may issue fines for disturbances; review your hotel’s environmental policies upon arrival.
- For condo or vacation rentals, check for elevator or step-free access and confirm dedicated parking before booking; most towers have elevators, but smaller properties may only offer stairs or limited parking. Request accessibility accommodations if required.
- Arrive at Tigertail Beach Park before 10:00 AM, especially on weekends or holidays, to secure parking and enjoy the lagoon's calmest shelling and birdwatching conditions. Major hotels can help with local gear rentals or advice on arranging transport.
- When staying at brand hotels like JW Marriott, use your loyalty benefits for possible upgrades and always confirm nightly resort or amenity fees before arrival—these may range from $15 to $50 per night and can include access to pools, fitness centers, or Wi-Fi. Check hotel inclusions to avoid unexpected charges.
