Location, friendly staff
absolutely nothing
It was awful. We stayed here because our power went out in a storm. We would have rather slept in the sweltering heat than risk the diseases you can contract in that dump. That doesn't include the visible mold on the wall from the a/c leaking water.

We were delighted to have such spacious rooms. The whole place was spotlessly clean. Checking in was efficient. Checking out was easy. Breakfast was crowded (eclipse crowd) so we did not give the food a fair trial. Hot tea and muffin on the run was ok
Everyone was very nice.
Clean, new, good location.

Nice clean hotel. Room was large, new flooring, tub surround, sink. Had a refrigerator and microwave. Bed was comfortable, lots of pillows. Close to a park where you could go walking. Aquatic center, and pickle ball courts across the street, restaurant on site
Was better than I expected for a "cheap" motel. Restaurant adjoining was very good except for the flies.
I drive a wrecker and needed a place to stay overnight. I chose here because of the great lighting and there was plenty of room for me to park.

Top Tips
- Fly into Fort Smith Regional Airport (FSM) for simplest access; it is 15 to 20 minutes (8 to 10 miles) from central Van Buren and offers the majority of commercial flight options.
- Choose hotels within 1 to 2 miles of I-49 for predictable amenities like 24-hour fuel, grocery access, and chain-brand breakfast hours. Take advantage of loyalty program perks and complimentary breakfasts, which are more common near I-49 than in historic properties.
- Plan to drive since local public transit is minimal; rent a car or confirm hotel shuttle availability for late arrivals to reach dining, groceries, and attractions.
- During March to May, which is peak tornado season, ask your hotel at check-in about their severe-weather plan, including interior storm shelters or designated safe rooms. Explore the front desk or request mobile alerts for up-to-date weather notifications during your stay.
- If staying in Van Buren’s Historic District, request a ground-floor room or verify elevator and accessible bathroom features in advance, as older buildings may lack step-free access.
- For reliable Wi-Fi and business amenities, book a national-brand hotel on the highway corridor. Many offer business centers and printer access; verify upload or download speeds at check-in if remote work is a priority.
- For late-evening dining, supermarket, or pharmacy needs, first confirm if your hotel offers a 24-hour pantry or snack service. If not, cross into Fort Smith (a short drive), where more options are available after 7 to 8 PM.
