It was very nice nothing extravagant but well worth the money
Having never stayed at an IHG or Avid hotel before, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was impressed. The hotel was newer and clean and had all expected amenities. The room was very modern, and it met to expectations. But the best thing: breakfast!

NOTHING. IT WAS DISGUSTING. As I entered the room, life(Cockroaches) started scurrying everywhere. Climbing on the walls, the bed, the bathtub the sink. I was HORRIBLE. And I am still having trouble getting a refund and my $100 deposit back.
When we checked out and left
It was an ideal location and the price was very reasonable, I though.

I've never stayed at this type of hotel before! I was happily surprised to walk into a "room" that was like a tiny apartment! There weren't a whole lot of amenities, coffee and shampoos etc, for a longer than one-night stay, but the place was CLEAN/cozy!
Staff was friendly and room and hotel were clean.

Top Tips
- Book hotel rooms 8-16 weeks before fall home football games to avoid sellouts and short-notice rate increases of 50-75%. Average nightly rates during these peak times usually range from $150-$250. Join hotel loyalty programs before booking to access member rates and perks, and early booking improves access to on-property amenities like complimentary breakfast or pool access, which may be limited at full capacity.
- Stay in downtown Fayetteville for walkable access to the University of Arkansas campus or Dickson Street nightlife; most hotels offer free parking and are a 10-25 minute walk to Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Downtown properties increase 24-hour front desk security and support on event weekends. Request at check-in for shuttle service schedules or local walking maps.
- Consider hotels along the I-49 corridor for quick highway access to Bentonville or Rogers; the drive to Bentonville is about 30-45 minutes (roughly 30-35 miles). These areas suit guests seeking quieter stays away from event areas, or those exploring multiple Northwest Arkansas cities. Check if hotels provide free breakfast or business center amenities common at highway-adjacent properties.
- Many Fayetteville hotels offer free guest parking, but on event days, expect paid permit lots or transport fees for stadium and venue parking. Ask the hotel front desk for up-to-date event parking maps, shuttle info, or recommendations on accessible transport if you have limited mobility.
- Request a higher-floor room facing away from Dickson Street (north or east) for quieter nights, as nightlife remains busy until last-call hours. For families or light sleepers, bring earplugs or a white noise device—many front desks provide these upon request.
- Confirm accessibility features by phone at older properties; newer chain and boutique hotels usually offer elevators and roll-in showers, but some motels or campus-area spots may lack these. Specify needs such as visual alarms, tactile signage, or step-free access during booking to ensure full accommodation, and confirm features with the property, as amenities vary.
- Fayetteville tap water is treated and potable, so carry reusable bottles to avoid buying bottled water. Many local hotels supply filtered water stations or in-room refillable bottles, supporting Fayetteville’s sustainability efforts and eco-friendly practices.
- Allow 20-45 extra minutes for rideshare pickup during major events like Razorback home games or nights at the Walton Arts Center due to higher wait times and surge pricing. Check whether your hotel offers a shuttle, group transport options, or a recommended rideshare pick-up zone to speed up departures.
- Use national-brand loyalty programs for value on non-event weekends; chains like Hilton or Marriott often provide reasonable award availability except during home-game weekends. Book directly through official hotel channels for the latest loyalty benefits, flexible cancellation policies, and direct guest service access.
