If booking a trip separately, both trips would be counted in the number of trips when completed. If booking together, that is only considered one trip for the person who booked it.

If a VIP member removes themselves from a family account they will drop down to the VIP tier level associated with their (not the family’s) completed trips i.e. if they were part of a VIP Family and had a Platinum tier, but they themselves only had 5 completed eligible trips, once they were removed from the family account they would be VIP Gold.

No. You simply maintain the same tier level from year to year until you advance. You can graduate to a new level with new qualifying trips completed after January 1st of the current year.

No. We only count qualifying trips from January 1st onward towards VIP status for the current year. Trips completed in previous years do not count, so keep your focus on future trips!

If you joined the VIP program with an email you can no longer access (like a work or school address), you can still keep your VIP tier and benefits. Simply add your new email address to the VIP Family program, and we’ll make sure your perks stay with you.

Here’s what to know:

• You’ll keep your current VIP tier — whether that’s Blue, Gold, or Platinum — when you add your new email.

• Your past trip details and bookings tied to your old email won’t carry over, but your tier benefits will continue without interruption.

• When you add your new email, we’ll send an invitation to that inbox. To confirm your spot in the VIP Family, you’ll need to create (or sign in to) your account using that new email address and accept the invitation.

If it looks like you’re “just joining” again, don’t worry — your VIP status will follow you. You’re not starting from scratch; you’re simply moving your membership to a new email address.

A quick tip:
If you still have access to your old email, it’s a good idea to save any upcoming trip confirmations or receipts before switching.

The ability to cancel depends on the type of booking and the cancellation policy associated with your reservation. Only trips that are completed count towards your VIP status.

Don't fret! Any bookings made under the same email address will count towards your VIP status even you aren't signed in. If you don't have an account yet, previous bookings made with the email address you use to create the account will automatically be counted toward your VIP status.

Nope! There are no minimum spend requirements. Your VIP status is based only on the number of completed trips associated with your account.

To be recognized as a VIP GOLD member, your card details in your Priceline profile need to be up to date. Sign in to your Priceline profile, select “My Profile” and update your payment information with your Priceline VIP Rewards™ Visa® Card. Be sure to check that your 16-digit card number is correct and that the expiration date is current. Once your card details are updated, please allow 24-48 hours for your VIP status to be updated to Gold.
