The 3,500-acre property features three types of accommodations: an inn, spa suites, and golf villas, as well as four golf courses, eight restaurants, a European-style health spa, wine market, equestrian show center and tennis center. Guests are invited to tour the winery and rent bikes to explore the estate's private roads or off-the-beaten-path trails through canopied forests of trees, quiet nature trails, and vineyards. Tucked within the sweeping panorama of the North Georgia foothills, Chateau Elan is located a little less than an hour drive from both Atlanta and Athens, GA.

- There were lots of amenities, great wine selection, and lots of restaurants to choose from.
- Beautiful scenery, great wine and overall very pleasant and peaceful!
- Everything! Great rooms with super comfortable beds, amazing staff, very nice bars, good food.
Cons -
- The bear was extremely firm and the carpet was a little worn, but overall a great experience at the resort
- Overly priced with a lot of unnecessary charges one my bill. My room didn’t have body wash in the shower and the ironing board was not in the room. Had to call the front desk to have it delivered to me. For the cost of stay there. Things should be ready and in place. Overall I would return but may not stay at the hotel.
