Pros +
- The reservation system was perfect. The room rate was ok. The room was clean. Equipment ( water, drains, TV, bed linens, etc ) was all functional.
- The food tasted wonderful although we didn't get much food. The cook makes accommodations for dietary restrictions with ease. He's the best part about the experience by far.
- I was hoping to at least not be disapointed with the breakfast, and be able to enjoy some part of it. Boy was I surprised!! Everything was amazingly delicious, fresh, well-prepared... I was blown away!
Cons -
- I stayed at this location pre-Covid and it was a B&B style operation. I did not check the web site for this trip, but, apparently, the business was sold to a new owner & who changed the B&B business model to a wine & snacks.
- The staff accused us of leaving the pillow cases so dirty they had to deep clean the room & tried to charge us a $250 fee. She treated me horribly disrespectful & then made up things to complain about after we left although they said nothing about before
- The listing said double queen room. That means two queen beds. When we got there we found out there was only one bed. We ended up paying extra for a king size bed room. We should have not had to pay extra for the incorrect listing.
