Lone Star Court, by Valencia Hotel Group

Great outdoor spaces and we like the location close to a dog park and some other restaurants and cafes. The live music at the restaurant/bar is nice. Pool is welcome in the summer. They're dog friendly, and the service is excellent.

They've started charging for parking, which is unpleasant and should be included at these room prices. I also don't like that they charge some sort of resort fee, though at least they make that worth a credit at the restaurant, so if you have a couple of drinks, I suppose it breaks even.

the location, staff, and design of the hotel is great. and after the redesign/remodel they are doing, it will be even better (one assumes).

the room had a smell to it -- assume it's the carpeting and humidity. it smelled like feet. this occurred the last time i visited as well.

The property is located in The Domain area so there is a ton of things to do around there in walking distance. Even though you’re in a highly populated area, you never hear the noise of traffic when you’re in the property. The courtyard area is fantastic and quaint. I highly recommend grabbing a drink and sitting outside by the fire pit in the evening. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

The only thing I would’ve like better is the size of the beds. A full bed is tight when you’re sharing it with another adult. We were 3 women on a girls trip weekend so someone had to share a bed each night of our stay. A queen size bed would’ve been more comfortable.

Loved the rockers outside on the deck and the fire pits in the courtyard. The bed was comfortable. We had a peaceful stay and did not have issues with noise as we expected based on other reviews.

Would like an extra blanket for the bed to be available in the room; it was cold during our stay. Also, throw blankets to bring out to the rockers would be nice during the cooler months.

Friendly staff. Nice welcome. Rooms are very spacious. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was nice- great vanity space. I love that there is a ceilings fan! It was a very comfortable stay.

The refrigerator was so stocked that there was hardly space for us to store anything.

Very nice location and clean. Nice to sit by the fire pits and chill.

TV system was out for an extended time.

Every stay has been grewt. Rooms are spacious, beds are very comfy, live a full fridge in rooms!!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Facility had so much comfortable space. The room was spacious and clean.

My family of 5 came in for dinner. Bartenders tending bar, but did not send anyone to serve our table. My daughter served water after we waited shortly. Still no one came to give menus or offer any assistance. Restaurant empty and several tables not cleared. We left and spent our money downtown Austin. Pool closed by the time we returned.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The director of housekeeping was so kind and helpful with our needs. Pool was refreshing. The live music was great.

Didn't really care for the food. Wasn't prepared right, some cold and drinks were way too strong. At the end of the day after driving so far we just wanted a good meal well that didn't happen.
