Originally the site of an 18th-century shepherd’s cottage, La Gaffe is now a cozy bed and breakfast, set in buildings dating back to the 1850s, Just 984 feet from Hampstead Underground Station, and a 5-minute walk from Hampstead Heath, Family-run since 1962, the compact rooms at La Gaffe are comfortably furnished in a simple style and all have an private bathroom. A simple continental breakfast is served daily. La Gaffe Hotel is located in the heart of Hampstead Village. London Zoo and Regent’s Park are just 2 miles away and London’s West End can be easily reached by underground within twelve minutes.

Pros +
- Lovely hotel. Friendly owner and staff, very helpful and pleasant. Clean, classy although quirky accommodation. Substantial continental breakfast location, attractive area, close to underground station and delightful village.
- Quirky, charming house - location excellent. Nice neighborhood, near park and good restaurants.
Cons -
- Room was facing a very busy road, ear plugs were supplied by accommodation, which was very thoughtful. Room quite small for 2 but very cosy. Best to upgrade to a larger room if possible.
- Small room, but thats London. La Gaffes own restaurant temporarily closed. Breakfast just adequate.
