Artist Residence Brighton

I travel to Brighton at least once a year on business and always stay at the Artist Residence. The people who work there have never disappointed me, they actually go out of their way to be kind, charming and simply wonderful. I would like to express a special thanks to Samuel who had been a real pleasure at check-in, check-out and chatting in between. Three cheers to whoever is running this place in the background for attracting such competent and helpful employees.

Service, interiors, food and drinks.

Everything! My second stay here. I lovw the bohemian decor and serene atmosphere. The lovely staff. The location suited us perfectly. Close to the beach and situated on a quiet square.

Location, decor, staff, tea, coffee, caramel biscuits

Could hear every word spoken in neighbouring bedrooms, esp with people chatting at 1am! Earplugs are a must! Could do with a mirror hung near a power point, hotels never seem to think of the women in the room!!

Breakfast was sublime; Bedroom was clean and modern; Lovely attention to detail. Cute and quirky.

Only shutters so no curtains or black out blinds so the morning sun woke us up early!

Charming and atmospheric - very homely

Nothing really - the bed needed a repair to the metal structure it was taped up which was a shame and not what you'd expect - so I would think that should be repaired - soldered especially when you're paying that sort of money for a nights stay and also an extra plug socket for the kettle would have been good. But again didn't detract but the devil is in the details!

Not much. I paid £500 per night for a tiny badly laid out apartment that is old and tired… even the internet is slow

There isn’t much to like for that price

All of the luxe and quirky decor, from the dinky bathroom tiles, to the unusual art work to the Robert’s Radios

We stayed for dinner on the first night - food was delicious but two of the mains weren’t available. Stairway could have been better lit

The staff are extremely professional, friendly and polite, the hotel is extremely clean. We enjoy our weekend break.

Lots of stairs to our room on the top floor and the lift was extremely slow but it did not spoil our stay.I would have liked a larger room for what we paid.

Beautiful views from my 2nd floor room. Well designed rooms with all the home comforts. Fridge, fresh milk and a great selection of tea and coffee. Bramley toiletries, fluffy bath robes, slippers and a selection of chargers too.Friendly and welcoming staff. Enjoyed a drink in the residents lounge before I headed out for the evening.

The decor was very welcoming. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the bath products. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The room is well suited for a family with younger children.

Great location, fantastic view, car park directly opposite underground was a win. Lovely room, stylish and contemporary and a great vibe for Brighton. Nice touches in the room and good quality soaps and shampoos etc.

The interior design and the cocktails! Dan the bartender was also amazing and his restaurant recommendation was superb.

Everything was great.

Breakfast was superb freshly prepared and excellent service. The hotel was quirky with a great style location could not be bettered we had a fab room 11 with uninterrupted view of the sea

Lovely location and great views if you could get a room facing the ocean. Great staff, serving in cosy restaurant / bar.
