Hotel Restaurant Du Parc Saumur Logis Elégance

Air conditioned, comfortable bed, good shower good restaurant

The room was a great size. The facilities were clean and spacious. The staff were so charming and friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful.

It’s a long way into town, and there were road closures.

The heated outdoor pool and garden were very nice Restaurant food was all very good

Friendly efficient staff, spotlessly clean. Excellent choice of evening menu. Good selection of breakfasts Use of pool and facilities

We paid for a higher grade of room but discovered it was a duplex with the bathroom downstairs and the bedroom up a full level of stairs which was no good for us as we have to get up in the night. We asked to be moved to a small standard room which was adequate.Restaurant food was very good but with a limited menu - this was however fine for us.

The first more expensive bedroom offered. Location is a bit too far out of the main centre of town on the edge of a business park.

Excellent restaurant, good service, well balanced wine selection

Clean and simpleStaff friendly & helpfulThe parking is on-site and secure at night.

The only downside is it is a little too far from the centre of Saumur to walk.

Comfortable, well designed room with ample storage. Good bathroom with good sized walk in shower.Breakfast good with good selection from hot and cold buffet.

Two menus of choice for evening meal, one average price with limited choice for each course (did not like one thing from each course) so we "treated ourselves" to the 49.90euros menu. No point in spending time on presentation if the food is badly cooked. Starters OK but one cannette tough, one lamb overcooked and tasteless, boring choice of desserts. No "house wine" offered so paid over 30 euros for a bottle of mediocre wine and left about a third of the bottle. Although most of the staff at the hotel were friendly enough the older waiter serving us had a distinct "I know better than you" attitude. It would have been useful if, like most hotels, there had been copies of the restaurant menu in the room.

I loved the location and the hotel itself. the room was very comfortable and the food in restaurant was beautiful. the staff were lovely.

Exceptional

An oasis in a small town. Warm outdoor swimming pool, modern indoors and outdoors, very clean, good service

good location lovely staff great outdoor facilities

restaurant shut on Sunday

good breakfast, friendly staff, nice shower

mostly quiet although could slightly hear guests in other rooms although

Very nice hotel located just outside Saumur, fantastic restaurant, and excellent food. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pool was very good and perfect after a long day of exploring. It also has electric chargers which was very handy for our trip.

The room was on the small side, a little dated but overall good. The hotel is great if you've a car otherwise it's a bit away from the centre.

The thing I like about Logis hotels is that they are all of an excellent standard. The staff are well trained, polite and helpful, the rooms are always clean and set up to a good standard and the restaurant food is always to a high quality. This hotel was no exception and we will come again.

Room is a little small

A well-run, well-equipped hotel, with friendly staff, a good restaurant, and surpringly pleasant surroundings in a commercial location.

Not the fault of the hotel that it was my last minute choice to visit Saumur on the last night of our holiday. It's a good business hotel well hidden in a commercial area - just not the best choice for the beauty of of the Loire valley! My choice got justified criticism from my wife, but there's nothng wrong with this comfortable and pleasant business hotel.

friendly staff, quiet atmosphere, excellent breakfast

menus in restaurant rather limited when compared with those of previous owner.

good staff. clean & comfortable. nice pool.

menu. don’t like fake meat for vegetarians. also, food too expensive.

Great pool

Small room, when shower on ensuite bathroom steamed up completely.Toilet paper not replaced

Good hotel near a lovely town but needed a car or taxi. The staff were excellent.

No lunch available and nowhere nearby to go to unless you drove or had a taxi.
