Sonesta ES Suites San Antonio Northwest - Medical Center

I love staying here when I travel to San Antonio. The room's always comfortable and very spacious. It's very quiet and the location. Is it's good.

I stay here often, and I always had a hard time understanding why people would complain about the facilities. I never have had a bad room until my last day. The ice maker did not work. Having the ice maker was a big plus for me. No biggie ran out to the local grocery store and bought a bag of ice. The other complaint what is that the bathtub leaked. I thought maybe it was just some water that I had dripped stepping and i'm out of the tub, but as I ran, the water, the puddle grew bigger and was running. And finally, the biggest issue air conditioner, it was pretty warm and stuffy in that room. I have stayed at this facility over a dozen times and again, this is the first time ever having any type of complaint and I know what happens. I will continue to stay at Sonesta. This rating applies to only this visit for the most part.It's a great place to stay.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The 1st room was having key problems, staff didn't hesitate to move rooms!

Everything was great! Rooms were clean and nice. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location was just where we needed to be and felt safe. Plenty of parking. Will stay again when in the area.

Breakfast looked good but wasn't.

I stay here often. I have finally found my go to place when I visit San Antonio. The beds are so comfortable. The facility is quite. This location is pet friendly. That's a huge plus. I like to take my dog walking not just on the property but in the general vicinity. I feel safe. The location is very good with plenty of shopping and restaurants close by, or if you prefer there is a major grocery store or Walmart also close by. The kitchenettes have full size refrigerators with ice makers, a stove top, microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker. Also dinner ware and pots and pans. My room had a double bed and a sofa sleeper. I really enjoy staying here. My only complaints are the elevators are slow at times and toilets get clogged if you are not careful. Despite that I love this place. Feels like home.

Great location, close to restaurants, grocery and shopping. The kitchen in the room was perfect for a short stay and had everything you needed. Staff was decent

Room was not clean. There was old hair on the bed, in the sink, and in the shower. There was even a bug on the bed. The room had a very strong bitter smell. The bathroom light stopped working when I arrived and the toilet broke during my stay. The pool was in remodel and the place looked overall dingy and old.

The property was convenient and nice enough. The kitchenette in my room was perfect for my extended stay. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious.

The property was old and didn’t look that great. The room had problems right when I got there, the TV wasn’t working right and the bathroom light stopped working the first night. The toilet broke 3 nights into my stay. The room showed evidence of not being cleaned very well. The room had lots of hair around it, even on the bed and i found a bug on the bed.

Location was great & convenient to everything you’d need. Staff were great, very friendly and solved a few issues we had right away.

It’s pretty outdated with furnishings and you can just tell that the entire place needs a face lift. Our first night in a one bedroom suite was sleepless because the AC fan was broken and it kept cutting on and off, sounded like a jet landing and taking off. We couldn’t not have AC as it was too hot. Problem solved the next morning right away they moved us to another room. Breakfast was ok, basic but it was not replenished with more food or milk and it was only 7.45am.

We truly enjoyed our stay! The hotel was in excellent condition and perfectly located in a very central area. Staff members were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. I especially loved the coffee, which is available all day! Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great during our stay, the only small thing was that our toilet made a noise at night once, but it stopped quickly after I adjusted the pump. I forgot to mention it to the staff since it wasn’t a big deal for us.

Easy access in and out, plenty of parking and local shops to visit. Friendly staff and very helpful people.

The ceiling in the bathroom looked like the floor above us was repaired and they did a terrible job of patching it up. Every time I took a shower I was looking up waiting to see if the tub was going to fall through the floor on me.

The beds were really comfortable. The room was very clean. They had a continental breakfast, but we did not eat there. So can’t say how it was.

The bathroom could use a few touch ups. And the doors to the rooms also. Looked a bit worn. The pool was closed, which was a bummer. If they had said on the site while booking, I would not have stayed there. With it Being summer kids really forward to that.
