- We loved everything! People, food, room, location, service¿
- Amazing historic place! We even had a kiva fireplace in our room with wood furnished for our own little fire!
- This hotel has a great location, and knowing that it is such an old hotel, I was surprised by the quality of the room.
Cons -
- While we were there, the restaurant and bar wer being updated. Instead, they offered a hospitality room where we we ended up grabbing drinks and meeting other patrons, and also got breakfast and coffee in the morning.
- Paid a premium price for a small, noisy room with very small bed. Not sure why when there were better rooms open. Disappointing - it was our 38th anniversary trip! Coffee was not hot. No decaf available. It was much better when we stayed here before.

It is very authentic Taos. The inn is great, although there are fewer services than I expected due to short staffing issues related to the pandemic. It is in an excellent location close to the plaza. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great food!
