Hotel Princesse Flore

The hotel is pleasant and beautiful. The room, although not large, offers a reasonable amount of space, including a desk, chair, and armchair. The bathroom is well-designed, with the shower and toilet in separate areas.The lobby and bar are elegant and tastefully decorated.Some staff members, particularly those at the bar and the night reception, are exceptionally friendly and helpful.

-The SPA, in partnership with the hotel, charged the hotel for the entrance fee, even though we did not use the facilities. This was due to a rule prohibiting regular swim shorts, allowing only tight-fitting Lycra swimwear.We were not informed of this restriction when purchasing our tickets at the hotel reception. Even at the SPA reception, no one warned us, and there were no signs displayed. It was only after we had validated our tickets, entered the SPA, and reached the pool that an employee informed us that my husband's swimwear was not permitted. He then suggested that we could purchase the appropriate swimwear downstairs. We decided to leave the SPA and informed the reception. When we asked whether they would notify the hotel or if we had to do it ourselves, they told us they had no phone to contact the hotel…So, I called the hotel reception myself, only to be told that the SPA had already charged the hotel and that nothing could be done. I found this utterly absurd. The receptionist was adamant, and when I pointed out how unreasonable the situation was, she hung up on me. We returned to the reception and, after insisting, were told that the manager would be informed. The next day, the manager of the reception was polite and offered us a goodwill gesture—complimentary breakfasts, that we declined.However, when it came time to settle the bill, we found out that, in the end, the SPA had not been charged. Still, this did not undo the inconvenience we had experienced. In a five-star hotel, such miscommunication and poor handling of guests are unacceptable.

The entrance and foyer of the hotel were beautiful, that’s why I booked it . And it had 5 stars

The room was jaded , but the bed should have been in the trash, I did not sleep very well, due to the condition of the mattress. Not what one would expect for a 5 star hotel.

Third visit to this hotel, a convenient half way point on the way south. Excellent dinner and sommelier wine choice excellent. Not a cheap meal but nevertheless good value

The pool wasn’t part of the hotel it was a municipal One next door It is in the middleOf nowhere next to the Michelin tyre factory and you can smell it

Breakfast, very basic and not clean at all

Room was a good size but the TV in the sitting area was broken.

We stayed at this expensive hotel to use the spa. On arrival we were informed a mother and toddlers group meant it was closed to us until 2.00pm. We were therefore unable to use it. When we complained we were told we should have checked!!! During breakfast, which a very non 5 star buffet with dreadful hot options, Luke warm machine coffee and indifferent staff. When I asked them to clear some dirty plates they took a clean one and were about leave the dirty ones. Breakfast ended at 10.30 but at 10.10 they started stripping tables for lunch and ironed tables clothes. I hate this as it makes you feel unimportant and that you are in the way of their schedule. It felt like a building site with bare wooden tables and extension chords running along the floor. 5 star?? Not in our opinion sadly. Will not be returning.

We booked this hotel because of the spa that is the only reason we were told that the spa was very good. I phoned the hotel and on arrival spoke with the hotel and paid €30 for use of the spa. I am registered disabled and when I hit changed and into my swim shorts and was about to get into the pool I was stopped by a pleasant guy but never the less it was very embarrassing. I was not allowed to swim swim shorts only tight fighting speedos which is a hard ask when your body does not conform. Girl at spa reception was very rude and laughed as we were leaving. I asked to speak with the manager at the time and still waiting.

You just can't fault it, beautiful hotel, we like it very much, very clean and comfortable ?, it almost perfect. Wouldn't change a thing. Very good breakfast, private car park, nice peaceful stay.

The only thing I would like to say that location is a little bit far from the centre, anyway, we walked there in about 30 minutes.

Comfortable room

Completely closed rooftop bar, not informed when booking.Extra charge for spa, not part of the hotel, situated next door.We were informed that the restaurant was fully booked although there were several empty tables when we looked in twice during the evening.

Very basic, minimal breakfast. Not inline with others 5 star hotels in France.

Very old rooms, bed linen not very clean, no amenities, everything looked like it hadn't been cleaned and was shabby.

Bed was amazing, room was lovely. Great access to Royatonic. Lovely hotel and very nice breakfast

The room was very cold, one staff member in particular was quite rude. The room service menu was limited and the food (lasagne) was burnt and not worth €18. (The front desk did offer us a complimentary breakfast as compensation)

pictures online suggest a spa is included also when you look it up trough Google it says breakfast is included. both are not though. which was a disappointment. when we decided after all to use the spa but I was not allowed to go in cause in didn’t appropriate swimwear and was told to buy a new swim short for another 30 euros extra. very disappointing and also rude staff who didn’t seem compassionate about anything.

it is a 5stars hotel : we have been told it was not possible to have diner on the premises. that is insane. at this level of price, it is unacceptable. no valet parking in top.

it’s a very very nice hotel. the staff are fantastic. everything you expect in a five star.

thé bath was very high. it was difficult getting in and out. I usually ask for walk in shower but I forgot this time.

Lovely hotel with excellent service on the edge of the puy de dome. Arrived late after a long journey and had an excellent tapas in the rooftop bard over looking Clermont
