Prince Of Wales Hotel

Ventral location, excellent staff and unique rooms.

Need gps to find your room the first time.

It was a wonderful stay. The flower on the pillow every night was a great touch. And Margaret on the vintage wine tour was GREAT

My stay was too short

Its location. I enjoyed dining in the Noble Restaurant. The room was nice, but a drawback was that the room was not in the main building. Guests should be told in advance if not getting room in the original building.

The service in our room was spotty. The staff didn’t offer help in getting our luggage to the room, even though we had to walk up flights of stairs to reach it.

Our specific room was incredibly well situated. It was room 101. Great location on first floor of carriage house.

Ambiance, cleanliness, hospitality of staff

Friendly staff, shuttle service to sister restaurants at the Cannery, and to the theater, was fantastic.

Hotel was first class, with outstanding customer service , well maintained property, great location and nice amenities, pool/Hot tub very nice.

Room was on the smaller side, but comfortable. The room did not have storage for luggage.

The hotel location is excellent ( on the Main Street), with lots of parking spots. Also the hotel restaurant is very good and pleasant.

The hotel is old fashioned and very expensive for what it offed. Simple things which you expect in any hotel are not there, for example: there is no anti slip mat on the bathtub, the toilet paper stand and the a/c controller are hidden by heavy curtains

Staff and location.

Room required significant repairs ( peeling wallpaper, lampshades torn but were replaced when we complained, drapes filthy, chair had ink stains,baseboards required dusting). Number of parking spaces limited.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Staff was very friendly.

This was a very expensive room for the quality of the accommodations! I did not expect an air conditioner in the window for the price we paid for this room. Bed was not comfortable at all, and we had to drag out bags up a flight of stairs.

Not a single thing

The Hotel was very nice with plenty of space in the room.

The hotel needs a little updating in electrical access to handle all the outlets needed to charge phones, watches, tablets and computers current travelers bring with them,

Its High Tea, Character, and the bed.

Not informed about free morning coffee / tea at reception, even when I ordered, and paid for it from room service, in the morning. Not informed about the hotel services (spa, etc...) limited hours upon check-in, or when first arrival in room.

Location

Air conditioner was so loud! Thought the rooms could¿ve been made more authentic a little more fancy No fridge! Hard to chill wine and water especially in the middle Of summer.

No room with a nice view was available. The room and the furniture need deep cleaning.

The room temperature was uncomfortably warm and we could not adjust. I overheard other patrons complaining of same issue at checkout

Staff friendliness, location, historic venue

It was charming and tastefully decorated.

I could have been cleaner. The drapery valance had a thick layer of dust as did all the vents in the room. While I appreciated the fact that the windows opened, the window tracks were filthy. Also, no signage whether COVID cleaning protocols in place.

The hotel had character. The breakfast area was bright and the food was great. Portions were very generous especially the oatmeal. Bed and pillows were comfotabe.

I had trouble with the espresso coffe machine in our room. Water kept flooding out of it . We cleaned it up. One of the maids in the hallway explained it to me. Everything okay after that.
