Staff were very nice and very helpful. location was good as it was nearby stoney cove for scuba diving.

water pump noise in the room everytime someone turned a tap on - extremely loud and prevented us from sleeping at night. it was ridiculously loud and we were told that lots of people are complaining about this. also food in the restaurant was gross, chicken was like rubber and inedible on two separate nights and probably speaks to the fact that green king just microwave all their food. seems like everything is run as cheaply as possible with little regard for actual quality, just for appearances.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful. They were all wonderful. There was an issue immediately with the iron not working. I believe the manager (he wore glasses) went and sourced one immediately which was brilliant.

Cobwebs all over the window and on some of the walls. Had to clean these away myself

Facilities are poor. Need more towels, in room stuff, AC, more than 1 table chair, a place to store luggage other than the floor, the general things that make a longer stay better.

Very disappointing

Shower didn’t work no hot water , heaters covered in dust and room poorly maintained and poorly cleaned. Very bad road noise through front door gap. No sleep as a result.

Good location, nice pub attached and a nice outside area with a play space for children. Clean and friendly staff. Had a mix up on my room and got upgraded to a cottage which was very attentive and welcomed.

No room service, but that’s a minor gripe.

The fact they didn’t have the a family room that I booked The dead flies and moths all over the windowsill in room No towels The rats that lived opposite and ate out of the overflowing bins Wish I had taken more photos Couldn’t wait to get away

There was rats about near to were I was staying and in carport Food was awful and staff not very pleasant The room was cold only had 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel for me and my little boy for 2 days

10 minutes up the road from Mallory park , clean & tidy, food & drink in the pub ideal…

Being told to park on the outer carpark as inner being locked till 8am ( came out a 6:50am to find it never got locked ) bikes & kit in the van ideally I would of parked on the inner outside our room for peace of mind …. Make it up as they go along half the time ?

We stay at the Mill On Soar often to be near family, the staff are lovely so helpful, the breakfast is good and the rooms are good and always clean thankyou

Excellent value, having many of those little things which we often find to be missing at other more expensive hotels. There was a full length mirror, coat and bathroom hooks, a shelf for your washbags in the bathroom, a large TV in the right place, large towels, instant heat from an electric heater and parking just outside. The room was quiet, spacious with a super king size, comfortable bed. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent too. A shout out also for the friendly staff! We wouldn't hesitate to return when we are next passing this way!!

Convenient, friendly, good breakfasts and clean.

The plumbing system can be noisy when water is drawn from own and surrounding rooms.

The room was very comfortable and the staff helpful and friendly. Ideal location for diving at Stoney Cove.

We had no hot water in the room which we later found out was in the whole block.

Everything was great ,room , bed,food ,staff
