Loved the Bavarian charm, AMAZING breakfast, stunning views and location and the spa/access to spa!! Incredible.

The restaurant was a little hard to get into but that¿s ok.

Breakfast was amazing - plenty of choices. The view from our room was beautiful. It was quiet and away from the town.

Our glasses were not clean when we arrived.

The pool area was too humid , hot and condensated

We are repeat customers. We love everything about this hotel. Our dogs are very comfortable here. The one site restaurant choices and bar is outstanding. We love the easy walk around the lake.

Our room was very warm this time. We slept with the patio door kipped to cool the room off.

Beautiful setting with great hiking trails

Not convenient to town, road construction on the main road to the hotel restricted travel and made for long wait times

Lovely and cosy place, wonderfully quiet. Having a car makes everything easily accessible. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic.

We enjoyed our stay at Riessersee Hotel. It is located in a beautiful area next to a lake, with great mountain views. The staff were very friendly.The room was very spacious, with a separate bedroom area on the upper level. This was especially convenient when traveling with an infant and needing a separate area for naps. The room was also clean and offered a nice view from the balcony.We also liked the breakfast. There was a wide variety of food to accommodate different dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free). We could also find appropriate food for our baby. The hotel also offers a buffet dinner. We ate dinner there only twice, but it was delicious and, again, offered plenty of variety.We also enjoyed the surroundings of the hotel, which are perfect for short walks and hikes as well as longer hikes.

The hotel is located away from the town (about a 30–40 minute walk). This meant that if you don’t have a car, as was the case for us, and are traveling with an infant—which can make even a 30-minute walk challenging—you either need to stay around the hotel, where there are limited and expensive food options, or take a taxi back and forth, which is also quite costly.For example, a bottle of water at the hotel cost €10, which felt excessive.

Superb breakfast, super clean sauna and room.

We reached this hotel all weekend by foot, which wasn't a problem but required some support going up the hill each day :)

Room and bathroom spacious and clean. Dinner above average.

1. Breakfast was average. Main hot fare (sausages, eggs) very greasy. No variety. No BIO fluids or detox fluids. 2. Jacuzzi not heated water. 3. No Wifi in Gym (though the staff wifi access point showed up as accessible). 4. Outdoor spa not turned on.

The rooms were a little dated. It needs to be updated and little more maintained for example doors were very scuffed, etc..

Location … walking distance to all the sights we wanted to see

Wait staff outside… one in particular male rude and ignored us for 45 minutes when we tried to order. Was not busy at the time

The hotel was beautiful inside and out. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Excellent parking, room and grounds. There is a lovely trail around the lake and access to other trails in the area.

We loved it, but be aware, the walk down the hill to town is really steep. The walk has a nice trail to follow into town. And, you will get a good cardio workout when you climb back up to the hotel!!

Breakfast was very good, but the good stuff disappears very quickly. Our advice is to arrive before 8:30 and take in advance whatever special bread and other stuff that you like.Parking is plentiful around the hotel.Reception was very good and helpful.

The hotel pictures on Booking are very enticing, but are not true. The hotel is showing its age, also the rooms.The location is outside the city.There is no air conditioner at all, so the advice in summer is to close the windows and curtains during the day and open at night in order to cool the room.The rooms are not all the same size. Some rooms are duplex, requiring running up and down the stairs, so check which room you're getting.The hotel only subscribes to free TV stations, so all available channels are in German.The internet is weak and breaks down at evening when there is a big demand.

The hotel located near the mountain and surrounded by nature and lake. Everyone at the hotel super friendly, from reception to the restaurant until last person. Big thanks to every body there

Nothing negative I can say

The location was absolutely stunning, a true sight to behold. After a short stroll at the resort I ended up booking extra days. Located slightly on a mountain, surrounded by beautiful trees, lake and hiking options. The facilities at the hotel was so great you never really had any reason to leave it unless hiking, or attractions. It had all. Great breakfast, absolutely delicious evening buffet. Close to attractions like lifts to the alps.

The hotel was in a great location at edge of town up in the hillside on a little swimming lake. Amenities were perfect. Indoor pool spa , bikes. The breakfast buffet was superb and wonderful friendly staff. Very clean . Rooms were updated and walk in showers.

Such an amazing place! All the facilities were great!The saunas and swimming pool as well. Extremely clean and comfortable. Very nice and friendly staff. They were also very sweet, giving me a cake as a gift for my birthday ? The breakfast was sooo nice! A little bit far away from the center but it exactly what I was looking for ✨ I had a great time in there
