Masia De Lacy Hotel

It is so quirky. But beware it is also party central. Weddings and big parties are apparently a ‘speciality’ although you wouldn’t k ow it from the website and reviews.

8 hours of loud techno drum and bass music from 10pm to 6am. Absolutely outrageous and I will be complaining formally. That was after being asked to book the restaurant for dinner only to be told it was full and they couldn’t serve us any food whatsoever. Rubbish.

Some rooms without windows, one of which I got. Despite my objections and the hotel being virtually empty they said moving was not possible. A very upsetting experience and most definitely my worst stay in Spain. Possibly not a single person stay and definitely if you are on a motorcycle. The whole grounds are locked up like a fortress at night and no option to bring a bike inside despite considerable space. A most bizarre experience and I recommend you avoid. This is obviously an event hotel who really don't want anything other than large functions. They even charged me 100 euro deposit for damages/theft or smoking - which I am yet to get back.

We only stayed for one night but were pleased to find ourselves in a lovely room with nice architecture in a beautifully decorated estate. The pool was clean and we had a nice view from up there. The receptionist was very friendly.

There isn't much to do around, so you need a car to get places.

Cecelia, the receptionist was great, very welcoming and made sure that our stay was as good as possible.

Difficult to find, but got there in the end.

The hotel is lovely - quirky, quaint and rustic and the patio garden gives a calm peaceful aspect for an afternoon or evening drink. The staff were helpful and friendly., as was the chef who understood my dietary requirements. The interior and bedrooms of the hotel give a historic feel to the place.

the location is just off the motorway at the side of an industrial area so although in its own setting it’s a lovely place there is nothing else around in walking distance

elegant, decadent, interesting and fun. Easy to find, close to major routes but not noisy. loads of parking on site.

Evening menu a little limited but the food was excellent.

We were there for a private event and having a room for that all-night event was sooo crucial. We loved- old world stylings but- modern air conditioning- charming bathroom- massive comfy bed- ground floor open patio- comfy patio furniture - facing a garden fountain squareand a very kind front desk employee gave us a ride back to the city after his shift ( we couldn't get an uber, it was a holiday and valencia doesn't have many ubers to begin with ) this guy saved us

This is a charming family run hotel. The quality of the meals is amazing and the staff are incredibly nice.

The breakfast could have been a little more varied. It was still nice, though.

Very friendly personnel. They actually went over their heads to serve me breakfast, even though the kitchen was not open. Breakfast was a warm one, not just some bread and ham. So, a big thank you! for this!

Elegant and clean hotel in a place where you would not expect to find it. Spacy room with a large comfortable bed, and well isolated for noise. Lunch and dinner were superb, as well as the service. Wifi works well.

Nothing in particular worthwhile mentioning.

Internet reception

The smell in the room was bothering so I could hardly sleep. It was stale, plus maybe furniture was old. I don’t know the reason. I opened the window but it didn’t help. The good thing is the parking. Very welcome staff. Good shampoo. But the smell spoiled everything. I was in the exterior room. Maybe in the main building it is better. The breakfast is so-so. I wouldn’t recommend.

The hotel is in good location, since Valencia is about 15-20 minutes by car. Our room was located on the ground floor and accessible from outside, which is an advantage in the times of the pandemic. Despite some activities going on in the restaurant of the hotel in the evening, the noise was not heard. Very professional staff at the reception, capable of dealing with any request, reacting immediately.

There was hardly anything to dislike. Maybe the mosquitoes in the evening were a little annoying, if you decide to stay outside for longer.
