Pros +
- Clean- airport shuttle
- Ruta Jacobea is like your real hotel - spacious and well-staffed. The restaurant serves good food but pricing is also on the high end.
- The fact that this hotel is so close to the airport and they offer free shuttle service to and from was a deciding factor for me. The hotel rooms are large and spacious and there is a restaurant as well.
Cons -
- Noise from downstairs was unbearable, placed a town on the floor near the door to try block the noise.
- There are no nearby restaurants and you have no choice but to eat at the hotel’s restaurant. The set dinner costs €29.
- There is air conditioning, but it did not work. Being right on a busy street open windows caused a lot of noise at night.

The breakfast was okay but the staff was rude and unfriendly. Great location with a upgraded room. Nice amenities in the room. The front desk was staff didn't want to work with people today.
Location, quality room and a very comfortable bed
Very nice and clean rooms. The airport shuttle was great and I got to the airport nice and early!
The walls are a bit thin and I could hear what was being said in the rooms beside me and outside.
This is a very nice hotel located less than 2 km from the airport. They will shuttle you to the airport for free. There is an inexpensive buffet breakfast offered daily.
The restaurant and bar are woefully understaffed. The food is wonderful and drinks are good but there are simply too few servers to satisfy a full dining room.
Close to the airport, I had an early morning flight. And the shuttle service was on time and well organized.
Nothing bad to say.
Excellent restaurant Nice decoration and art. Very attentive staff
The shower had no cold water so water was scalding. The room was extremely hot and cooling system was not working. Told staff but neither was repaired. As such, no shower and was very uncomfortable in the room. At this price point the room should be able to hand the temperature regulated
The restaurant was excellent and the Ovation good for the Camino
They advertised air conditioning and we were in room 206. We checked in and the room was a sauna on the sunny road side of the hotel. It was a 2:30: check in and we turned on what we thought was AC and went for an early dinner and then to their bar. Upon our return to the room it was still a sauna. Desk said to open our windows. We did and flies immediately flew in. We closed the windows back, killed the flies and went back to the bar to let the sun do down. Room was still at 80 degrees Fahrenheit when we returned while friends in 209 had a very comfortable temperature. Went back to desk and asked for a fan as they said all rooms were reserved and could not change us. The nice desk man came with a fan was surprised at how hot it was, also, advised to open the windows until I told him about the flies and I then asked about the room being refunded and he said he would look in to it , but again asked us to open our windows. We did that again to no avail. In the morning after literally not sleeping at all because of the heat and flies, I again went to the desk with my Google translate English to Spanish explaining everything all over again and the lady in the morning then informed me that the AC is turned off because most guests want heat??? She did not apologize, offer any compensation or take any more time with us. She was very rude. I am going to file a dispute with Booking.com and my credit card company when I get home on October 10th. False advertising on the AC
Just finished Camino and needed a location near airport, with shuttle and food. This met all, the restaurant was FANTASTIC. Large rooms - clean. Staff was very professional. Shuttle ready for us and was quick. Would recommend anyone to stay here.
Nothing. All was great.
The room and the shower were large and comfortable
In the night around 9:30pm they staff in the restaurant downstairs were setting up for breakfast (I was left to figure this out) as noise travels upwards it sounds like someone was dragging furniture around. I dismissed this for 30mins but in the end had to go to reception where I was questioned as to my ability to distinguish between noise and my imagination. I was annoyed and the receptionist said she would come up, which she did, said she could not hear anything. Again made me feel like I was imagining everything. I went down 3 times over the next hours as the dragging went on until 11pm at night. When I did finally determine that it was the restaurant staff with their manager......they were not apologetic just said they had to set up. Maybe, but not at the expense of paying clients comfort late at night. I complained the next morning on my check out but still did not get a sorry or any form of acknowledgement of my discomfort. Would never stay again.
The space was comfortable and accessible to the airport, providing a free airport transport was a big bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and nourishing, with lots of options for pilgrims in transit.
Some of the interiors felt a bit dated and worn, needing a refresh.
Very good restaurant and staffs were friendly. More expensive than other places, but worth it for a night. Close to the airport and shuttle available
Cute and modern room. Most of the staff were polite and helpful.
The staff member at the front desk during our checkout was rude
The hotel is on the Camino AND close to the airport. They had an airport transfer for departure, but it wasn't ready on time.
The room was odd shaped and there was a bottleneck going too and from bathroom facilities. OK for a single guest, inconvenient for a couple.
I love this hotel. Room clean and simple. Classic hotel good size. I have stayed here 3x. Fantastic restaurant. Beautiful garden.
Very good rooms, comfortable bed, nice shower, good restaurant, cafe, and staff. Easy transfer to the airport. They allowed a late check-out because I had a later flight. That was incredibly kind.
Room was huge, everything was new and high spec, restaurant was excellent, staff were friendly and professional
There was a mosquito in the room
Great location, close to the airport, lovely room and great food
The room was large and clean and very mid century modern. And the restaurant was elegant and wonderful. It was MUCH better than expected for its location!
