Review summary
The hotel reviews highlight a mix of experiences, with many guests praising the clean, spacious, and comfortable rooms, as well as the excellent location near shopping and attractions. However, some guests noted issues such as a broken shower wand, noisy doors, and a need for room maintenance, including painting and vacuuming. Overall, the welcoming staff and convenient location contributed positively to the stay, despite concerns about parking fees and additional resort charges.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was excellent -- a quick walk to Pike's Market and other attractions.
There was a big rip in the carpet in the room. I felt like it made the room look unattractive. It was right in the center, and it made it seem as if it wasn't a priority. I really hope you fix it.

Great location
We were unable to check in until after 6pm. We were also put in a handicapped room, so the only shower was a hand shower. Parking in the attached garage will cost you $70/night. Breakfast is your standard continental breakfast (cereal, bagels, waffles, etc). In most hotels this is free. Here they charge $32 per adult. Would NEVER stay here again.

Room is good and clean
Charge for early check in was ridiculous. We were 2 hours early and the rooms were clean and ready but the charge was $25 to check in early. This is the reason I primarily stay at Marriott brand hotels, early check in and late check out is free if the room is available and ready. Extra daily resort fees are also high.

The hotel is at a great location. There are train, bus, and light rail stations within a couple of blocks of the hotel. For the 5 days we visited, we were able to walk and ride public transit to pretty much everywhere we have planned to visit.
The hotel was great; but I must say that downtown Seattle is very different from what I remember when I visited 10 years ago. There are many empty buildings, and the mall nearby had less than 40% occupancy. It was both sad and depressing seeing the city like this.

The location was good. The meal we had were good.
There was a fire in the alleyway of the hotel and we had to leave building. On Sunday night of our stay Dec 1st. The rooms next door were so noisy. I called at about 10:05 pm and then again around 3:00 am as the noise continued passed 3:00am.The front desk person I spoke with said they were going to send out security to see what the noise was. It was people make noise very loud. I'm sure you have a policy about this, how do you enforce it?? It doesn't seem to us that the hotel enforced the issue. Why is there right to make noise and party in hotel more important than my peace and quiet night sleep in this hotel? I hope this is helpful.

Great location and clean hotel
The city is awful in regards to homeless and drug use. We probably won’t be back for that reason. We could not go out at night to enjoy ourselves

The hotel spelt amazing and had wonderful products to use. The beds were very comfortable and the staff accommodated our request for a crib. Close to downtown and a variety of restaurants and attractions!
The bathroom isn’t super private as the sliding door leaves a huge gap. The walls are also super thin and we were close to the ice machine so we heard that all night long and people in the halls. Parking was also very expensive.

Good location, quiet rooms.
The cleaner woke us up at 8:45 by knocking on our door. Then knocked again at about 9:10am. We told her both times that we thought we had until 11:00am to check out. We spoke to the front desk about this and they said they clean the floors of the hotel starting at the top and her phone indicated that she was scheduled to clean our room at that time. The system either incorrectly told her we were checked out or she was in a set cleaning schedule which assumed we’d be gone by that time, which is odd. We did not out the door not disturb sign on the door, I never been told to do this in order to get the cleaning staff to wait until we have checked out to clean our room. Out friends in a neighbouring room took a load of stuff to their car around 10am but hadn’t checked out yet ant the cleaner was in the room already in the time they had gone downstairs. The system needs to be changed to notify the cleaners when guests have checked out and not to go into the mor rooms before that time. So odd. Also the parking cost is too high at $50 US. Change the room rate to balance out the parking rate a bit pls. We didn’t love the barn door on the bathroom. Zero sound privacy. I could hear my husband poop.
