All the nooks and crannies. So many spaces to sit and enjoy the view, or just to take a load off.

Having a mini fridge in the room would be great. Also, it seemed the only thing available at the on site restaurant was buffet. It would have been nice to be able to order off the menu. Not sure if this is a seasonal thing or not.

Beautiful scenery from our room. Spacious lawn. Delicious Pancake for breakfast.

They put us in a Historical room. NOT GOOD! The bathroom was about 3'X3' had to sit on the toilet sideways and had a step up to even get to the bathroom. We also had to pay 15$ to even get to the hotel for one night.

This sweet lodge was the best bang for my buck! It was clean, the people were friendly, there were tons of amenities. Excellent experience!

Location

Nightly front desk person was on the phone the whole time when checking in. Never said a word, and had to wait 10 min before she pointed to the paperwork for me to sign.

Cabin was not clean..we had to go ask for everything..nothing for us to use to clean.. bedding smelled

The lake and outside was lovely

No frig or microwave in the room. Room was very dated. Ask d for a lake view and we got 4 small windows under the outside set of stairs

The best part of the hotel is the location. It was close to the places we need and nice and quiet.

While in our room we could hear every conversation from both rooms on either side of us. Plus we could hear everyone that walked by. There was mold in the bathroom and flies in our room. We have stayed in this hotel before and the rooms were much better!

Location is Right on beautiful Lake James and just off the Pokagon State Park hiking trails and Toboggan run.

If you're looking for a quiet weekend away, this may not be the best choice. Potawatomi Inn is a very family friendly spot and you will hear kids running up and down the halls until 11-midnight and again early in the morning.

The room was a bit smaller than we anticipated but it was comfortable. We really missed having a table to sit at to play games, but the lodge had some nice tables and it was just a short walk away.

Rooms much smaller than I thought it would be .. broken window that you could could not close, It was fixed.

a view of Lake James, an easy chair in the room, pool was heated, whirlpool was a generous size.

The restaurant food was not good got the fish and fries and the fish was over cooked and the fries were super greasy tasted like the oil was old

Staff friendly but food in dining hall was medicre. Slow wait service for dinner.

The location is beautiful! The public areas have interesting taxidermy animal displays, and even a small aquarium. The breakfast we ate in the dining room was quite tasty and reasonably priced.

The beds were *very* uncomfortable and hard. The building is obviously aging and needs some updating, but the only reason I wouldn't want to stay here again is because the bed was truly awful.

The history, the view of the lake. All the things you can do in one area. Hiking, swimming, volleyball, boating. The trails are beautiful. And even if you were tired, sitting in the courtyard or the historical portion reading a book looking at the lake

actually. Everything was great. The staff, very friendly and helpful. This is the perfect place for a couple to unwind. Even if one of you likes to relax and the other wants to get outdoors. Thanks again for the experience.

The lodge and grounds are beautiful, quick access to water, trails, nature, if you like the outdoors, this is the place!

We stayed in the older section of the hotel so I can only speak to that portion. Room was very small, bathroom was super small, décor made it dark and kind of dirty looking, lacking modern needs like enough outlets.
