- -) very (!) friendly staff -) very nice vibe (original hotel building from the 20s nicely preserved) -) Location directly at the beach-) very good food
- super friendly staff, superb location, rooms very nicely appointed, the sister hotel (the Shutters) has a lovely restaurant with an open fire
- The staff at reception as well as the restaurant was outstanding.Service was excellent and we even got upgraded for our honeymoon.
Cons -
- You really have to think hard to come up with something. If you had to say something, it’d be the slightly outdated pool area and that there‘s no free water in the gym.
- We were on 6th floor but could hear every movement in the room above - annoying.The aircon in the downstairs restaurant is too cold (even the staff don't like it)...you have to wear layers to breakfast!The valet parking is too expensive - it's $85 per day (plus tips!), when there is secure underground parking for $26.50 only 5mins walk away. No prizes for guessing what we did.

Simply a brilliant hotel experience - the hotel team were exceptional (particulalry Brian) - the whole experience from our welcome to our departure could not have been managed better - an exceptional hotel experience.
