Hotel Kaiserhof Eisenach

Loved the atmosphere, the staff, the room we had with balcony, it was pet friendly and they had a good breakfast. They also got a restaurant in their basement that had lovely food (pictures shows)

This is not their fault as it is a very old building, but their parking space was minimal. It was full when we arrived, and we got stuck in there with the car as u have to walk to the lobby to get a code to come out from the gate. But there was a parking house not far from their hotel we could stay at that cost 12€ per 24h.

A very elegant and classic hotel that was fully up to date. We had a balcony outside our room and the bed and facilities were good. The breakfast buffet in the morning was quite good and ample.

The hotel is on a main street so there is traffic noise, which can be eliminated by shutting the window and using the air conditioning in the summer.

Clean, stylish rooms. Comfortable temperature. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was great — such a close walk to the station.

Breakfast was okay, but I am gluten intolerant, so options were limited.

Proximity to railway station, and close to old town. Excellent traditional German breakfast, and nice small Bar in the evening.

From the outset, this hotel impressed me. Great position, very historical, with friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely stay here again when in Thuringia

Great stay. The room had plenty of space to move around, the bathroom was clean, the bed was nice, the breakfast had a variety of items to pick from, and the food in the restaurant downstairs was delicious. Plus, the atmosphere in the restaurant reminded me of the beer halls in Munich. Also liked the easy paid parking.

I really liked this hotel. It was like stepping back in time to a more elegant era. The room was really comfortable, but it also felt that it had a touch of class in the furnishings. At the same time it had everything you needed from a more contemporary point of view. The receptionist was exceptional with good English and ready to provide information about everything I needed to know. Dinner, in the more expensive, of the two restaurants, was an exceptional experience with good food and even better service.

Location very good, close to City Center, shopping area and Railway Station. Room was a bit small, with very little space for luggage. Bed was particularly discomfortable. Staff very friendly and very good quality breakfast.

The hotel, it's location, the breakfast/ food, room and staff were all excellent.

As this is an older/ historic property, in the centre of town, there are limits to the facilities it can offer (e.g. it won't be able to offer a pool, gym etc.) but that is to be expected. Therefore, this is not really a downside.Everything it does offer is very good quality, in an historic hotel, in the centre of Eisenach, close to all amenities. Highly recommend.

Good old hotel modern inside .single room with breakfast was good .had to pay 10 euro a night to park the motorbike ? but knew this in advance .location very good would stay again if in the area

Everything was perfect. They don’t have a gym room but give you a voucher to go to a very well organized and modern fitness center for free. ???

Helpful staff. Beautiful house. Comfortable beds. Clean. Good location near bus to Wartburg and close to city center.

The breakfast and the staff

My room was small, next to the elevator shaft, which made it impossible to fall asleep from the clunking mechanical noise. No proper light blocking curtains either. The bed was a single against the wall Victorian style. Quite uncomfortable too. And the hotel is located on a busy street with uphill traffic. Even if I wasn’t on the street side it was really noisy. Since it was a hot summer night I had to open the window and thus got no sleep.

The breakfast was very good

It was rated four star, but the room had no fridge and no safe. Toiletries were minimal. The room had no air conditioning. And with windows open it was very noisy. Compared to other four star hotels, the Kaiserhof is in a lesser category
