Price for Parking is excessive

The front desk at registration was very nice

The bathroom was dirty and there were tissues and bottle tops near the bed when I went in

The staff was friendly, and very helpful. The architecture of the building was very nice.

The parking situation was bad, and the area was unsafe at night. Many homeless people around. the room was not very clean, no water was offered in the room, the bed has very hard and uncomfortable. No extra bedding was offered for the pull out couch.

after having a nightmare at the Hilton bay front strike and protest...this was a welcome relief.the staff was great and made and made us fell like welcomed guest.

honestly we had no idea the homeless population in downtown San Diego was so bad.the Gaslamp district has a big problem .

The staff was very friendly. Parking attendants were very friendly and fast. The lobby was very beautiful.

The shower head and knobs were a little janky. The floor flooded (little bit) when we showered. Shower curtain was janky.

I liked the historical building.

The parking was atrocious and expensive. The streets surrounding the hotel were littered with trash, the smell of urine and other unclean human smells. Several of the characters around the building were blocking sidewalks and yelling. It was a bit much.

Everywhere I went the homeless was out of control. Every corner they tried to clean up the streets but they¿re overwhelming. Mental illness was everywhere.

The location and how spacious the room was! The staff was also very friendly. Will definitely come back!

Hotel is in a historic building with great charm, right in the center of downtown. Clean room, good wifi, staff was great, everything was very solid. Would stay here again, no doubt.

There are some ups and downs to the neighborhood, but nothing that relates to the hotel.

Not much you can do about it but the view looking inwards at the AC units was very unappealing. I wish I would¿ve known that ahead of time as I would¿ve requested a room with a better view. Also not much you can do but the lack of a pool kinda sucks :(

The staff was tremendous. Everyone from the front desk to housekeeping to the valet service.

It would have been nice to be able to self park, but not many hotels in downtown San Diego offer that.

I had to schedule housekeeping, I did that and gave a five hour window of noon to 5pm, and the room still wasn¿t serviced. Getting more towels was ridiculous and very frustrating.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel decor is gorgeous. Beds comfortable. Hotel is very clean.

Annoyingly small soap containers in the room. Most staff were nice, especially the valets/housekeepers. But when I called to question an accounting error after my stay, the staff person was difficult and didn't apologize when their error was discovered.

I loved how they incorporated the old bank features into their contemporary design. The front office staff was above and beyond friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again!

Literally one of the best locations. Middle of gas lamp. Parking is $50 a night but it¿s 24/7 on call valet service. The staff is amazing! This is where we stay when in San Diego.
