Beautiful property, and the most perfect location.

driving to the hotel was a bit of a pain. Finding the parking area was difficult and I was not prepared for how to find the front door.

Beautiful hotel in old town Quebec. Great location for sight seeing and walking.

Not related to the hotel, the HopOn-HopOff bus stop is extremely busy. We had to wait 1.5 hours to get on. You might walk to another pickup to get better access.

The bathrooms are very small.

The location of the hotel is unbeatable. The outside of the hotel is divine (wish I could say the same about the rooms).

Visible furniture marks on the walls, dust on the tables, single-ply toilet paper, stains on the curtains, cramped room, springy mattress, lack of personal touches, and the overwhelming feeling of being "nickeled-and-dimed."

Everyone helpful, knowledgeable, very courteous and smiling!!!!!

The staff seemed overwhelmed by the volume of guests. The experience went from luxury to a commodity. The brunch priced at C45.00 per person was comparable to a Holiday Inn experience. The dinner was over priced in relation to the quality.

It was a beautiful hotel. The old architect was grand.

Handicap Beware! You are not welcome there. Many at the hotel and Quebec City treated me with arrogant disdain. I was told by the attendant at the tram I was not handicap enough to use his elevator at the tram, or to bother him. We let early.

Great Location!

No free water anywhere for guests! For what we paid for our room - come on! Bathroom was too small - again for what we spent - not worth it.

Location

They gave us a room that was the farthest possible from the elevator. It was a very long walk from elevator. The elevator broken almost daily when I stayed. One out of 3 elevators were usually out of service so we had to wait a while to get on.

Middle of everything.

No chair in room for two. Signage for entrance was poor.

Comfortable bed, beautiful architecture, lovely location, pleasant and helpful staff.

The location, hospitality, staff and almost everything is great about this hotel. This was our first visit to Canada with Quebec City being the first stop. The hotel experience in every aspect exceeded our expectations!

Historical hotel with outstanding service and amenities. Onsite bar and restaurants made it an excellent experience.

The location is amazing! Staying here will likely mean you won't need to travel anywhere other than by foot. I highly recommend the walking tours.

The rooms are small and lack space for storing clothes. A long stay could drive you crazy in such a small space.
