Sheraton Cavalier Hotel Saskatoon

Unfortunately the waterslide was closed when we came and this is always the number one reason we choose the Sheraton, our kids love the pool area, specifically the waterslide. It was definitely a disappointment that it was closed.

Location, restaurants, beds

The friendly staff and the downtown location.

They lock the A/C so you can¿t really adjust the temperature of the room. Infantilizing.

The customer service was amazing! The pool/water park was clean and well maintained! We enjoyed the slide! It was very busy but expected at this time of year.

I am disappointed that you have to pay 15 dollars to park with the price of the rooms. Not have a continental breakfast is a downfall, the cost of room service and the restaurants are over priced. The room did not have a microwave.

No fridge in room, no coffee or tea in room and for that price maybe 2 bottles of water could be supplied.

The staff was excellent!

We received the smallest room with one queen bed. We have to kids and use a play pen and a crib. The room is exceptionally small including the bathroom. It just made our entire stay uncomfortable. We won't be returning.

Wifi strong and fast. The waterpark is great for kids. Location is lovely. Other than that, I would NEVER stay there again.

Dated, tired, tiny bar fridge, no microwave, no coffee in lobby, charges for everything. Way overpriced for what it is, substandard services.

I have never stayed at a hotel that required a keycard to be used to operate the elevator. I don't understand what the purpose of this would be, as the stairs appeared to have no restriction.The heating/cooling system fan in my room was very noisy

The location and lobby

The King suite was small and the photos didn't match the room. The room had a river view but the patio was locked and the balcony needed serious repair. I was expecting a spacious more luxurious room for the price and how it was advertised.

The bed and pillows were awesome. Nice washroom.

$15 for parking not included, breakfast not included.

The location would probably be great if you had to conduct business in the downtown area. I was just stopping off for a night during a road trip, so I would have been better off getting something on the outskirts of town.

There wasn't anything about the hotel or the staff that was lacking. Great location. Very comfortable beds and pillows.

This was not the hotel's fault, but the only negative to our overall experience was a drunk hotel guest that thought it would be funny to pound on our door at 3:30 in the morning and then proceed to his room talking and singing loudly with his friends.

No microwave in the room. You hear every other persons door shutting, as none of the door are soft close, which most upper end hotels have. Not sure what is going on in the pool area, as there is an old heat register at back wall, that has been beat up, rust painted over, and rivited pieces to hold it together. Not a big issue, but it is quite an eyesore considering how the rest of the water park looks great.

Loved the beautiful surroundings. Pool area was probably the best I've seen from hotels. So fun even for adults. The beds were very comfortable . I found myself googling how to get my hands on the same ones. The checkin and check out were so smooth and quick .

The only thing I wouldn't say that was completely not awesome was the restaurant that is on site. The best part was probably the views from our booths . But it is super overpriced for even basic things but I wouldn't say it wasn't inedible ; but it's the second time I've gone there over years when I've stayed there.I definitely would go walk next time in area for a different choice for the price point because even though convenient that it's in hotel. Tons of better quality of food options in the area for that price point with more and better options. Especially if you happen to bring your kids . We weren't but still I wouldn't say we paid for the views over the food . The only other thing was the nostalgic on deck restaurant at pool area was slimmed down to ordering room service instead of the little kiosk that had snacky foods there . It would be great to bring it completely back.
