Everything including breakfast is wonderful and clean and wide room, friendly staff, no noise.

Nothing to complain.

Location good, nice walk in to main town area. We were on-route to northern Italy from UK, so midway.

WattHalden is a nice comfortable hotel. The staff is very friendly. We booked the largest room, which was a perfect, spacious living room. perfect bed, balcony, and kitchenette which was perfect for our needs. Breakfast is in the hotel's main lobby. The buffet is well-assorted.

A little annoying and strange is that boiled and scrambled eggs are free but a fried egg costs you 8 euros ( 2 eggs )

The most charming and efficient receptionist on duty at 8pm on 14/02/2025 when we arrived who greeted us most warmly and recommended and booked a nearby restaurant as the hotel’s own was fully booked. Adequate room with comfortable beds and good bathroom. Save and secure underground parking for only €12.50.

Only fizzy water in room.

The shortage of free parking. The bistro has diminished in quality over the years with higher prices and less attention to the food.

We were in transit and we enjoyed stay in this place. It offered convenient location, just few minutes from Ettlingen Center which was nice area with many restaurants. We were offered a free parking. We had good breakfast - all what was needed to rest before continuing holiday trip.

Good breakfast! It was included in the price. Lot's of options to choose from. It has a very convenient free parking place, so that you don't have to stress about where to leave your car. It is located in walking distance to the very nice city center, no need to go by car. The bed was big and comfortable.

Lobby and breakfast area less airy and bright since installation of a conference suite.

Breakfast is very good and has a lot of choices. The beds are comfortable. The location of the hotel is close to the town centre with shops and restaurants and there is a 2,5km walking trail ‚panorama Weg‘ starting not far away from the hotel with nice views over the area. The Watts brasserie offers good food but is pricey.

€25 for a dog/night is pretty excessive given that there are no provisions for a dog.The shower doors don’t close properly and even with the best possible care one cannot avoid water escaping onto the floor of the bathroom (room 109).

Associated restaurants upmarket/expensive but more places to eat within 20mins walk.

Air conditioning didn't cool the room and only blinds at the window and they had holes in them
