Hotel Restaurant Riche

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice location.

The variety at breakfast was a bit limited. Not necessarily a negative: I stayed in the Van Gogh room - not by choice - and although this is interesting, a normal room would have been more appreciated as I feel it would have been more comfortable.

There was some loud activity until late at night (most of the nights)I payed my stay one day earlier to save time on my last day. However, I was called to come back (I was already at the front door) because, supposedly I did not pay the foreign taxes. I needed to repeat several times to the lady at the front desk that I was in a hurry and I did pay everything at the previous day. She should have checked when I dropped the key before complaning and she should have believe me. She just let me go after she checked her computer and did not care for what I was saying and that I was late or not.

Service was perfect. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful, extremely attentive. They even offered to drive us to our appointment in town, as Uber and Taxis are not available. No charge either.

The room was something out of the 60's. Wash basin was damaged (discoloured). Bath had an old shower curtain. Bed was quite acceptable. The room really needs an update. The rest of the hotel is perfectly in order.

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Restaurant is really good. Lots of hotel parking and very close to the hotel.

Rooms are not very well noise insulated, it's not a big problem but takes a bit of getting used to.

The breakfast selection was very limited. And there were costs not communicated on arrival and was asked to pay at the end.

i stayed at the Van Gogh room. this is a special experience - I felt I was inside of the painting. I also appreciated a lot big parking place and working restaurant on Monday.

it’s an old hotel - so you do hear the neighbors and the church bells

Location great, staff was very helpful and friendly. Food at breakfast was just okay, great coffee. Restaurant for drinks and dinner was great. Wifi worked great. Was also very clean throughout.

Comfort of room is low, and noise level was very high. Room was basic, which is fine but lacked comfort with just a pillow and blanket. Walls are paper thin, can hear outside and other room noise all day/night, and housekeeping is extremely loud in the morning. Some small updates to the room would go a long way especially in the bathroom, my sink was cracked, no hairdryer and shower head wouldn't work.

Breakfast was nice. The building is really nice and centrally located. The restaurant is a clear recommendation.

Bathroom could need some renovation. Internet was not working that day.

the location in the main drag. you can people watch all day whilst drinking good wines and excellent nibbles.

we were given a poor bedroom and were moved to one with no view. it hadn’t been properly prepared.
