Pros +
- Perfect location on a quiet street and safe area. Breakfast was great too.
- Location, staff, comfy bed
- Rose Red has recently been renovated and what a magnificent job they have done! All the rooms have been appointed perfectly. They are very comfortable and have all the facilities you could want. Temperature was perfect, the bedding is lovely and the décor is so tasteful. It has always been a cosy hotel with a lovely atmosphere, but the renovations carried out have turned this into the perfect boutique hotel in Bruges. It's location is second to none, close to the centre and parking, but down a quiet side street. The bar area is stunning and the beer and food selection are to my mind the best in Bruges.
Cons -
- No kettle would have been nice to make a cuppa
- That I can't go there more!!
- Staff: though the staff were very kind, they can be a bit more professional. I asked for things to be fixed and it was not. I asked for hotel check out process and they left out details causing more work on my end to complete. But again, they are all kind, just not sure how they are keeping track of everything.Housekeeping: usually towel on floor means change towel. But housekeeping left all towels as is. *shrug*

That I can't go there more!!
Convenient location, close to the main square but in a relatively quiet area. The room, although on the smaller side, was very cosy and neat. The bed was comfortable and quite spacious. The bathroom was also clean and nicely equipped. Overall, a very pleasant hotel that made our stay in Bruges even more enjoyable. We would definitely come back again!
Hotel is well situated in a back alley like street next to the main square. Rooms itself looks like they were recently renovated but the corrdiors look gothic and slightly old. Probably going with the same theme in the restaurant. Which speaking of, the restaurant was packed during all evenings. Did not get to try the food but assume its good if it was that packed.

It is located in the centre of Brugge. Facility was clean and comfortable.
Perfect location to the Christmas market. The hotel was clean, modern and the bed really comfortable. The staff were excellent and the bar/restaurant very atmospheric with gorgeous food. We really enjoyed our stay over the Christmas period.
Nothing, loved it!
The location is excellent, so close to everything. Quiet road too so no noise at nightime.
Room was quite small.
Perfect location, right next to the old town but safe from the noisy crowd. The restaurant at the ground floor is just great - do not miss it.
Nothing to complain.
Fantastic hotel, beautifully decorated and lovely cosy vibe. Location 10/10! Seconds from the main square and everything in Bruges easily walkable. Staff were brilliant and super helpful. Would 100% recommend this place!
the staff were exceptional and very helpful, the location was perfect !
there was a weird bothering smell in the room , maybe from the bathroom not been well ventilated
Great staff, lovely hotel very central. Can't fault anything
would have liked Tea and Coffee making facilities in the room
It's a very nice little family owned hotel with tastefully done interiors, corridors are very cool, painted all red.Clean beds with plug sockets next to each bed, we know how practical these are. Staff, and the owners were very hospitable and welcoming.
One thing to point out (as both a guest and an architect) is that the door to the toilet SHOULD NEVER be a glass. Opaque glass, but still not something you desire to have when the rest of the occupants are sitting in the room to have on display when you are on the toilet. And please make them floor to wall, enclosed. Toilet time is not something to be shared with anyone. We had to cover the door with bed sheets to make it more private, although the open space above the door meant that the smell would spread to the room... You can imagine the rest. So we had to time our toilet time. But that is the ONLY downside. The rest was really good. I would definitely recommend this place just to make them put the proper door to the toilet.
I didn’t have breakfast. The hotel was in a good location. Decor was amazing in the lounge and bar
As a single traveller I had a glass of wine in the bar one evening. I would have had a drink every night but I did not have a good experience hence I didn’t use the bar again. The bar was very busy, the waiter took my order for a glass of wine whilst I was seated in the lounge. After approx 10 minutes he asked me to move saying the table was reserved and needed. He told me to go into the bar and stand at the bar. I was very upset by that. If he had told me the situation when I had ordered i would have been ok with that but it made me feel like I should not be there and it was embarrassing having to move. I then took my glass of wine and spent a lonely night in my single room
Cosy, wonderful bar area. Clean, large bedroom, very nice tapas menu in bar. Location excellent for exploring, close to centre but quiet at night
Shower lacked power, only fried eggs available on top of continental breakfast made it a bit expensive
Clean, warm, nice
No toothpaste
Great location.. great people and great service. They have a tapas restaurant and bar attached to the hotel which is amazing. It is also very happening in the evenings.
Rooms are quite small. It would suit a single person more than a couple.
The location was perfect for us visiting central bruges. Perfect, as the hotel is right near the square but just tucked away .The main bar dining and snug area was so relaxing, especially sitting by the fire, which gave it a warm Christmas feeling. The breakfast was very nice, lots to choose from .Me and my partner both found the hotel to be warm cosy and romantic. We would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone's trip to bruges.
Fabulous location. So close to the centre, but just tucked away, so lovely and peaceful. Lovely comfortable room. The hotels bar and restaurant were busy every night and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Would highly recommend.
Nothing negative to say
Excellent location around the corner from a lovely breakfast cafe (Hide), close to everything.Rooms were aesthetically very well done and immacutely clean. Warm and cosy. Excellent bathroom again extremely clean.Plenty of space to. hang things up.Good price.Especially liked the access to the downstairs bar area, very atmospheric and beautifully done. Friendly staff. 100% fabulous
