About
With one of the most memorable and magical locations that Orange has to offer, Borrodell Estate is renown for its high altitude, breath-taking views, and distinctive four seasons. Guests can enjoy a relaxing secluded experience among the vines and fruit trees in either the modern Cider Suites, or the cozy 3 bedroom cottages. All accommodations includes a continental breakfast, with tea/coffee making facilities, a full kitchen in the cottages, while the Suites feature a smaller kitchenette. The Suites also feature a spa bath. All include a private bathroom with a shower, bath, bathrobes and free toiletries. With one the regions only vineyard restaurants - Sisters Rock Restaurant - guests can indulge upon estate and locally grown produce from our world-class chefs in a fine dining experience that is second to none. Sisters Rock Restaurant offers long lingering lunches only so guests can while away the afternoons as they stare into the dreamy views and valley beyond. The restaurant is open from Thursday to Monday for lunch from 12pm. Bookings can be made via our website. Award-winning wines are available for tasting and purchase in the SkyBar, where we host guided tastings from 11am to 3pm, Thursday to Monday. Alternatively you can also just enjoy a glass of wine, a beer or a cocktail. WiFi is only available in the SkyBar and the restaurant. Borrodell is only a 3.5 hour drive west of Sydney. Although if you wish, you may opt to fly in, as we also offer our own helipad. We feel confident that your stay with us will be a relaxing and enjoyable experience and encourage you to explore our beautiful property, acres of vineyard, orchard and manicured gardens.

- I have dog. So we are so happy to stay with my dog. And feindly staffs , peaceful area and lovely house. We will go to here next year again ^^ Thanks for everything. See you next year.
- The breakfast was 1 container of cornflakes located inside our room. The extra's like bread, butter, jam was also included, as well as some chocolate's. Paying nearly $500 p/n I was expecting a little more effort ?
- The premises are tiptop. Kitchen was extremely well stocked. The cottages didn’t have Wifi but we aren’t interested in a holiday where we were glued to screens. Very magical
Cons -
- The Spa bath contained "orange" colour water so that was disappointing. Also the Tesla Charger wasn't working. The package advertised a bottle of Wine upon arrival, This wasn't received.
- In this day and age, it may be good to provide WiFi in the cottages
- There's nothing not to like except the potholes in the country lanes, and Borrodell can't fix those. All part of the remote feel.

Very happy with the reception, the views are amazing. I did not eat there, as I travelled their late Monday and only lunch was available from Thursday to Monday.
We stayed in Truffles. This a small 3 bedroom house, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom. It it fully equipped with a comprehensive kitchen, a comfortable lounge room.a large modern TV, a veranda to sit and watch the view. Our first night there were several kangaroos grazing outside. This is an ideal place to relax and forget the world and enjoy greenery and vines and trees and views. We will be back!

It had nice views from the upper section of property.
Arrived to check in 3 pm no one was present. couldn’t try the wines , no sky bar no restaurant. Pointless staying at a winery. A real disappointment it felt like we should not have been there. We asked for a refund so we could leave they denied a refund. Should reduce cost and make people aware there will be no customer service or wine experience on a Tuesday. Over priced accomodation, needs refurbish. Didn’t even have dishcloth to wash up.
Quiet with lots of animal life. Very relaxing near a few wineries and a lovely continental breakfast to share with friends.
The lounges need replacing. Free wine tasting would be nice or a bottle of wine in room. At $7 per tasting per wine I thought was over the top and so went elsewhere.
Fantastic supply of breakfast supplies - jams, breads, fruit, orange juice, milk, butter, cereals, tea and coffee, yoghurt and a beautiful bottle of their wine. We stayed ion the Chardonnay and the views were beautiful overlooking the vineyard and very private. Staff were lovely. The restaurant was beautiful!!!
There was no curtain on one of the bedrooms. It looks like it had been ripped off and pulled out of the wall. So that meant there was sun streaming in at 5am, which was not pleasant. The shower door in the main bathroom was broken, but still usable.
I've stayed here several times already and never fails to amaze me. I did have an issue with the Tesla charger still not working even though an electrician had come out to get it fixed. That was the only downfall as its handy just charging my car over night in the property.
Location, breakfast, accommodation, restaurant was fantastic
A wonderful peaceful location - our "cabin" (the Kingston) had a fabulous view over orchards and vineyards. Good breakfast items provided. Cabin was roomy, clean and very well set up except for the quality and size of the bed. A relaxing but not restful stay.
Booking.com entry stated a "extra large double bed" (which on every other booking I have made is an Australian KING bed) BUT that is not the case here - the bed was maybe a queen size bed? soft and squeaky. Such a pity to have such an amazing studio cabin with such a poor quality and size of bed. Not a good sleep. Also no blinds on east facing large windows so regardless of bed up with the sun.
Location was stunning! Endless views. Rhonda on-site manager, thank you! Your knowledge & your welcoming was outstanding. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Peaceful and picturesque. Loved the supplies continental breakfast and free bottle of bubbles
The little cottage is showing a bit of wear and tear with age.
Beautiful setting. Comfortable bed. Good amenties
Unimaginative breakfast automatically replenished. Unhelpful receptionist.
Beautiful location and clean and comfortable cabin.
The first night, our power went out at 9pm, which meant all heating, lighting, and water were not working. Not ideal with 5 people staying in the one cabin. The after hours emergency number didn't answer, so we were without power and running water for over 12 hours before someone rang us back.It was an easy fix, but on a switch board that was no where near our cabin so we couldn't locate it on our own.It wouldn't have been too bad if the staff had returned our call or even rung us while we were out for the day to apologise and let us know power had been restored.
Loved the location and view, the group of kangaroos that “escorted” us to our cottage was especially a delight for our children.
The beds were very hard. It would also have been nice to meet a human from the property in person, I don’t think 8.30 am is too early to have someone around at reception.
I really like the location and vibe of Borrodell Vineyard. It is amazing place for a couple or family.
Everything was excellent except we were not aware of the other services and restaurant were closed for that Saturday, which didn’t meet my expectations.
The location was fantastic, very quiet and private with lovely views.
It was rather difficult to find a staff member to ask a question
Breakfast was continental style. Was ok. Nothing special. Location and surroundings were beautiful. Lovely and private.
A warm welcome on arrival and we were escorted to the accommodation and shown through. Beautiful outlook, quiet location not far from town. The continental breakfast was exceptional with local condiments. A bottle of wine to sip on while watching the wildlife.
