Overall okay, but disappointing details. The “king-size bed” was actually two separate beds that kept moving apart, making it uncomfortable to sleep together. The TV is not smart — only local Dutch channels, so no movie night. These outdated basics should be clearly mentioned.

Staffs are super nice at the kitchen. Area is quiet. Ambience in the dining. Fast check in. Ventilated area. Free parking and parking is near to the reception.

No complimentary water. Smelly elevator. Smelly pillows. Not much toiletries to offer. Old and rough towels. Not sound proof. Horrible noise in the morning.

1 double room tv not working, bathroom cold and smelly.Suite had large double bed instead of requested and confirmed 2 single beds, therefore sleep was not relaxing. Bedroom curtain half ripped off. Not really a suite

Lovely clean large rooms, close to town, friendly staff, nothing was too much effort.Even ringing around to get a replacement wheelchair after my mum's wheelie walker broke on our first day there. Simply loved all the helpful staff. Breakfast was great, a lovely variety available.

Rooms were noisy, traffic from road clearly present. So was the noise from people in other rooms. Door lock alarm sounds very frequent (annoying). Although clean all felt a bit dated.

Breakfast quality was inconsistent, some of the rooms were rather old and one bathroom had rust in the shower (I have stayed multiple times for one or two days in to the spam of two months).Some of the personnel was not very trained, which per se is not a problem unless you pay insane money for it.

Great location with free parking on site. short walk into Middelburg. Good choice of breakfast.

Good breakfast with a good choice of food. Room very comfortable and clean. Great location, only a 10 minute walk in to Middelburg centre. A big bonus is they have a car park.Have stayed here before and will definitely stay again.

rooms very small and not very clean, only way to close the room door was to slam it so this means the constant noise of doors banging. shower was lukewarm, breakfast eggs inedible, boiled eggs were so overcooked they were black, scrambled eggs appeared to have cheese in them with no allergy notice warning of this. Staff appeared friendly enough although on check in we were told room would not be ready for 15 minutes so we had a drink in the bar, when returning to reception 30 minutes later we were advised room would be a further 25 to 30 minutes.

Was a bit annoyed when I went down to order 2 coffees one evening and was told I couldn't put them on the room bill as I wasn't a business client, even though I'd paid my bill in full the day before when we checked in.

Hotel was well situated - outside of the town but only a 10 minute walk to the centre - and handy to have free parking facilities

The location is very good. You can go by walk from the train station, close to the downtown. The hotel’s restaurant is very good: drinks, main courses and appetizers. The staff is very helpful and the breakfast is very good.

The double bed is two twins mattress that If you travelling as a couple like I was is not comfortable to sleep because there is a hole between.

Breakfast was nice. Most of the staff were professional and helpful. The hotel is located a 10 minute walk from the town center and is easily accessible by car. Plenty of free parking space. That's about it.

Recently changed ownership, the building and facilities appeared to need some loving attention. The room was reasonably clean although a stray plastic bottle beside the bed, from a previous guest was disconcerting. The breakfast was nice but the fresh salmon some of the reviews were lyrical about, was absent. The hotel is surrounded by paving - parking and main city arteries. The large double bed had slippery topping-matresses which would slide apart by just looking ...

The location is great, and the free parking is a great bonus.

The room was smelling of food and sewage.
