Excellent breakfast, in a room with a lovely view over the Leda. Plenty of free parking, and although a bit outside the centre of Leer it's easy to get there by car. Comfortable bed, spotlessly clean bedroom and bathroom.

Welcome was a bit offhand, and we were very disappointed that it had not been made clear on booking that you needed to book a table in advance if you wanted to eat in at a reasonable time. I would have expected two comfortable chairs in a double room, rather than one easy chair and a chair for sitting at the table. Internal signage could have been clearer,

4 star hotel at 2 star prices... what's not to like.A wee gem. Very comfortable room.

A bit of a walk to get into the old centre of town. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room (if I remember correctly).The bar was closed.

spacious rooms and having a balcony was a bonus seen the beautiful weather. The breakfast was really nice. Location is good, you can have a short walk to the city center and harbour. In fact everything was as planned.

I saw complaints about have to make a reservation for the diner. For us that was no problem, it allows the restaurant to take their time for an excellent meal.

The room is big and clean. The staff were very nice and welcoming us.

Lovely hotel, quiet location ,, no noise at night. Restaurant was excellent. Breakfast had a good choice and was on the second floor overlooking the river which was very pleasant. Staff spoke good English.

Friendly welcome. Easy parking. Good breakfast, especially the coffee. Restaurant had English menu, reasonable prices and good choices and we were able to enjoy the bar with a local friend.

The room was very clean, in good shape and comfortable. The hotel restaurant was very nice and the good was good. The hotel staff was very helpful

Unfortunately the pool was closed

Great location. The room was very clean and tidy. I ate in the restaurant, which had a good choice and was reasonably priced. The breakfast was good, though the hot food could have been hotter.

My only wish would have been to have tea/coffee facilities in the room.
