DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Huntsville South

Now a place that's special for my son and I especially w/ the holidays. Pricing great and you just happen to end up with a suite, very homey, love overall environment and feel. Use this specific location for all local hotel stays! Wish could type more!

No. I only wish you could type more on the the above section titled *What did you like best about this hotel?*.

Very clean, spacious and open. There was also a nice bar in the lobby!

Receptionist was a little short with me for no reason.

Location & how big the room was

Not getting a top sheet for the sofa bed.

Clean bed, French door and cold ac.

Cookies, cleaning people were kind

Staff was rude

Large lobby, coffee & infused water daily, cookies, suite

Proximity to restaurants and shopping. The property grounds were well kept

The rating of the property was 4 stars. I stayed in a spacious suite, but it was definitely not a 4 star property. The cleanliness of the room was subpar (nasty carpet, splattered wallpaper, dirt and grime near nightstand, etc.)

Cleanliness, location

No air for the first nights stay!

The hotel was very clean and quiet.

The staff was not the nicest mainly the associate who checked me out.

rooms clean and large

location. and. no coffee available

I left my pants in the room so had to back the next day to collect plus front desk gave me 3 cookies.

Hotel was near restaurants.

Very dirty and most of hotel was under construction.

The front desk staff were very friendly and professional. The location was perfect and close to highways.

The hotel was under construction and there were workers outside my window at 7:30am. The 1st room I was assigned had been smoked in for several days before my arrival. The halls were filthy. The bathroom in the room needed a deep cleaning.

The room layout was great and we especially liked the doors between the living room and bedroom.

Major construction going on directly outside of our room and the entire exterior of the hotel. It should have been disclosed when I booked. Lots of mold on the shower grout.

The location was good

It seems the hotel is being renovated but this was not provided on the booking site otherwise I would have selected another location.

The staff was wonderful from the front desk to the bar workers.

There was a used towel hanging on the bathroom door hanger from a previous guest. Ughhh!!

The location

This was not the 1st visit to this hotel. And just like the 1st visit, we had to change rooms because it was not clean there were dirty rags from previous customers & the decor is definitely dated and the rooms need major work on ceilings and in bathroom

The price.

This was not what I expected from a Hilton Hotel. There were stains in the carpet and ceiling, the shower had mildew stains, the bed was very uncomfortable and doubletree beds are ususally amazing. The outside of the building had a lot of paint peeling.

Staff was helpful and friendly.

Had a Queen sweet but the beds were full at best.

Location and very clean and quiet
