- We received an upgrade from the front desk upon arrival because they had some extra lakeside rooms. It was a nice perk.
- The Alexandria area has lots to offer.
- Room size and cleanliness
Cons -
- They are obviously super short-staffed, which is hard. We knew the water park was closed when we booked, so that was not a disappointment for us, but it's clearly impacting their level of service. However, when I asked about breakfast, no one could tell me if it was being offered the next morning, so it was hard to plan. The available pool and hot tub are in terrible repair. My kids totally had fun, but definitely gave off the vibe that no one cares (missing/broken ceiling tiles, air vents lying on the floor, haphazard signs to give instructions on how to use the broken whirlpool)
- Room heat was a problem. They brought in 2 space heaters. We didn't get the room we thought we were getting. (We've stayed there 3 times in the last 10 yrs).Second, water park was closed for renovations? Big disappointment for our family.

Nice staff.
