Arrowwood Resort & Conference Center - Alexandria

This was probably the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. Extremely dirty, super loud and toilets and air conditioning did not work.

This place has seen better days! Outdated, dirty, and musty. I thought it couldn't be as bad as the online reviews that I read.....I was wrong. It was a huge waste of $ for what was supposed to be a fun quick getaway.

The pool, beach, mini golf

Rooms were dated, not very clean and had small bathrooms with no fans.

Location on the lake, outdoor pool

Very outdated. Balcony was small and dirty. Lamp shades had bugs on them. Hallways dark and musty. Stairwells dark and dingy. Called for TP and never got any. Breakfast menu advertised not available. Pontoon rental was dirty with torn seats.

All 9 grandchildren broke out in hives and even what appeared to be chemical burns from to much chlorine at the water park. food at restaurant was good, should never take nearly 3 hours to get your food.? no supervisor to deal with issues! Disappointed

Very quiet, and very clean. Also like the ev charging available.

Our room was very confusing to get to. There were not any signs in the hall to the lobby. It is a big hotel and a ways to get to our room with all of our belongings. They only had a buffet breakfast. Would have been nice to have other options.

Waterpark is not included in the stay as well as Waterpark staff doesn't ask if parents are swimming or spectating and charge you more then u should

very outdated, extremely cold inside of the hotel and room. We turned off AC in our room but still freezing cold and our family members ended up catching a cold.

Location is awesome, water park is great

Somehow my reservation was changed to the week prior. The gal at the desk argued with us for an hour before they finally found the mix up. We ended up with a more expensive room for the same price so once they found the mistake was in their end, was ok

Clean room, nice bed, and great view of lake and full moon.

Shower water did not get very hot

The whole experience was wonderful. Especially liked the patio bar. Food was delicious and very fun staff!!

Price was high compared to the quality. Updating the interior, including the rooms and bathrooms, is necessary. Felt like I time-traveled back to the 80s. There were bugs in the room, stains on the floor, etc. Lower-level rooms felt like a dungeon.

The room was large, a lot of things for kids to do, pool and waterpark.

Pool and waterpark are in need of a cleaning and pool had broken tiles on the bottom. Too many young children in hot tub (infants).

So many activities to choose from.

Training of staff was poor to none as most could not answer basic questions regarding the resort. Not their fault as much as the resort training procedures from what i observed.

Great place, beautiful location and every room has a balcony and staff was very friendly and helpful.

Accommodated wedding vows by tree snd music turned off for the period of ceremony

Our room was nice and well maintained. The decor was lodge-like and so lots of brown--a pop of color would have been nice, but overall it was large and had everything we needed. We really liked the amenities, especially the indoor water park.

Very spacious room with great view. Nice and quiet.

Room was really nice, my kids enjoyed the water park and the outdoor zip line. We will go back again soon.

We had a leave a few hours after we checked in due to a death in the family so we didn't get to enjoy the whole stay.
