Located in the heart of central Bardstown, Kentucky, this motel is located across from My Old Kentucky Dinner Train and just 5 minutes’ drive from the Heaven Hill Distilleries Bourbon Heritage Center. - It was very clean. Staff was exceptional, friendly and helpful with room location and tips for area. Bed was comfortable. It was very inexpensive for area and good value for price. Walking distance to attractions was great.
- Very friendly and good staff. Since we usually arrive in town earlier than check in time, they have always allowed us to check in early and that helps our situation so much.
- Clean room, comfortable mattress
Cons -
- Older hotel has gotten some renovations but still some ways to go. Needs re-paint in areas and towels were low grade.
- My son got some thing off the floor while crawling around that he chocked on so I do feel the rooms could be cleaned better, however it did blend in with the floor so some stuff is hard to see on the floor.
- Con, bathroom door was a sliding barn door. Bathrooms are like Vegas, what happens there should stay there!
