Room was really small. Desk did not have a proper design so was really hard to work on it.

Nice, friendly staff. Breakfast was great! A pretty hotel. Although a bit small ( you cannot lay out a large suitcase anywhere but on the bed) the room is very nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable.

I was not happy that they charged extra for parking in their own lot, which only had two other cars in it. As for the room, the bathroom has a sliding frosted glass door which provides very little privacy. I was there with my husband, so it wasn't terrible, but if you were sharing with a friend, it would be awkward. There was no bath mat (be sure to ask for one before you take a shower) and water just goes everywhere with these European showers. We couldn't find a thermostat in the room to regulate the temperature, so we had to open a window. The elevator entrance on the lobby level was strange. You had to open a very heavy metal door to enter the elevator. Pretty difficult to do with suitcases and impossible for anybody who is handicapped.

The location of the hotel was great. It is in the center of the town with a lot of shopping and eating possibilities around. The in-house restaurant is delicious and very cosy, as the ambience is like an American Diner. At the reception was free water, tea and coffee available.

There was some dirt in the bathroom but after mentioning it at reception, it was immediately taken care of.

The room was a little on the small side for 2 people with a weeks worth of luggage. It was also very warm in the room, with the only window opening out onto a noisy street. The breakfast was excellent value for money (being included in the price), though there nobody to welcome us and explain where everything was. With the breakfast buffet being spread across 3 different sections of the restaurant, it took us a while to find everything.

The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Hotel is walking distance from the train station and the ferry port.

Very convenient location! Really nice breakfast.

We stayed during a heatwave and had to have the windows open during the night; because of the central location it was super noisy during the night until the morning. Also the layout some of the rooms (we stayed in 2 different types as we had an extra member of the family joining on the last night) could have been better as in the small rooms you don’t have enough space to even open your suitcase….

The breakfast was amazing! The bed, pillows, towels, bedding were high quality, comfortable, plentiful and readily available. The staff was so nice, helpful and accommodating. The ability to bring in an extra very good quality bed was so helpful and slightly unexpected...a nice surprise! Also, the staff at Empire restaurant were so lovely!

This is less about the facilities or the hotel, more about the general area. It takes some getting used to, everything closing at 9pm, especially in the midst of a futbol Cup that lasts late into the night. Perhaps a small hotel refrigerator to store a few necessary provisions would help hotel guests.

Comfy beds. Nice good size renovated rooms. Fabulous breakfast buffet.

A gym would be nice . Or even some excercise mats we can borrow.

Not much to add.

The location is great, an easy walk from the train station. A bit further to the ferry and probably easy but we had hefty bags, so decided on a short taxi journey instead, which the receptionist was very happy to book early in the morning. As per previous commenters, the breakfast was fabulous.

Also per previous commenters, with the hotter weather we're experiencing aircon of some kind would be most welcome.

The breakfast was wonderful! Massive variety of food and always replenished promptly.

Our room was rather hot. They did provide a fan but it was just one of the sunnier rooms and heated up all day long.

When you come out of the elevator upstairs it’s like a hospital, you see someone sitting at a desk in an office, folded towels etc The rooms are bare and like Airbnb, nice but it’s like our room was may be an office before? Tiny bathroom, empty kitchen and another toilet in the hallway next to our rooms door.

Spotless Hotel, nice staff, decent location, limited parking.

No wifi, no heating, stayed two nights, I was offered another room second day, but had too much luggage, travelling by motorcycle, also was put in an annex across the road which was not made apparent at the time of booking, also forgot about me after my main meal, no offer of desert or coffee, really disappointed, what a shame because its a nice hotel with good staff.

Excellent buffet breakfast with plenty of choice.

We had dinner in the hotel,there were no meat free options but we had an Italian salad without the meat and a pizza without the ham! They were both really nice but some veggie or fish options would have been good.

Easy to get to straight off ferry from Gothenberg. Room was compact but very comfortable- great breakfast. Incredibly good value for money - included breakfast.Had very good burgers in their restuarant and even on a gluten free bun!

I had to call several times to follow up on my invoice for the stay, which I had requested in digital form via email.
