Catalina Hotel & Beach Club

The hotel has a very convenient location and the price is reasonable. It was great that the reception allowed us to leave our luggage after check-out, which was very helpful. The staff who welcomed us in the lobby were especially friendly and attentive, which left a really positive impression.

The room was generally fine, though the bathroom door didn’t close properly and the floor was a bit worn, making it uncomfortable to walk barefoot. After cleaning, the floor towel was removed but not replaced.The main pool was under renovation, and the rooftop pool could use better care, as it didn’t look very clean. The room also didn’t have a safe, which would have been convenient.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was large and in great condition. The bed was comfortable. It is a great location close to the beach, restaurants, and shops.

The expense of food and drinks was very high compared to other areas.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. A brand-new pair of shoes was stolen from my room. I noticed the missing item as soon as I returned, and when I contacted the front desk, they claimed that our room had not been serviced that day—yet, our beds were made, which was already suspicious.As I had to leave the next day, we agreed to stay in touch via email. Initially, they responded, saying they would investigate and get back to me. However, despite multiple follow-ups, they never replied again.Beyond the missing item, the lack of accountability and customer service made this experience frustrating. I cannot recommend this hotel and would advise others to be cautious.

Good location clean room

The room was spacious and well presented. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The internet was no good. Couldn’t watch any form of tv / apps / movies. Could hear my neighbours snoring and the ones above my room walking.

Happy hour, location, nice room size, different options of restaurants.

No room service, not even giving new towel. Had to wait 20minutes everyday to get towels, people not really nice..

Air con was good and beds were comfy. It did the job for only staying one night. Room was spacious. Happy hour is good at Maxine’s for guests. Hotel provided body wash was a nice scent.

Extractor in toilet was very noisy if the light was on. There was no plug sockets except in bathroom, unless you unplugged bedside lamp. Tv did not work and there was no remote. Door did not fit in frame properly at the top. It wasn’t the cleanest but was ok.

Location is great

This was our fifth stay at this hotel. We stayed here four times between 2013 and 2017. There will not be another time...This used to be a cool hotel with a friendly atmosphere with a unique setup of hotel, club and restaurant.ConsRoomRoom was quite worn, loose and broken floortiles in the bathroom.
